Why?

Because they grew up in a different time?

Because their morals (right or wrong, matter of opinion) are different than yours?

Because they love the game for what it is suppose to be (I guess could still be arguable), not what it has become?

Why are the people that you say "are whining" the ones wrong here? Because you like it?

Good job youngin' (I am much older at 53...)

Man wouldn't even shake his peer's hand. What the hell dude? You call me but won't walk up to me face to face? I'm sorry I'd lose respect for a dude that did that. Apology and all, I'd look at him sideways. Did you hear the media continue to ask the same questions over and over again that the man had already answered? I said personally he can't get up and leave like that but that's the media too. I have no sympathy for any player treating some of these dumb reporters wrong. They are antagonists and want to stir up BS at every turn. He should apologize just to save face but I don't care if he does or doesn't. He walked up to the captain of the other team face to face like a man not over the phone and congratulated him right after losing. Phone calls are what women do, men walk up face to face and handle business. IMO

Did you just call PM a woman? Seriously, are you actually on this site trashing not only one of the biggest players but one of the biggest donors who is a former player and has done so much for the University you say you love?

I've continuously said Cam was wrong but trying to make it seem like that weak sauce phone call apology Peyton did is fine is flat ridiculous. You're a man walk over there face to face and make it happen. Don't walk off the field and phone back like all is good with some excuse. That's your peer have enough respect for him to walk up on him and look him in the eye.

Manning is not perfect. Cam is not perfect. If you can't see Cam has a lot of growing up to do. I hate the Auburn pay a dad and get away with it. I hate the Panthers because I am a Falcon fan and would've been pulling for them in the SB to beat the crap out of the Broncos and PM. I actually enjoy watching Cam play but never want him to win because he plays for the Panthers and not because of him dabbing or whatever. That is cool. He does things for kids which is cool. But, if he is being paid the big bucks to be a NFL QB, then he has to handle the idiot press. Defend him all you want but to bring in one time that PM did not shake a guys hand like he is the worse sport of all time is silly.

I have personally seen what PM has done with NO cameras or press watching to help families with dying kids and help the kids and then find out when the kid has passed to send flowers and make phone calls. Orange shades or not, I don't give a damn about you defending Cam but don't freaking put down PM when you don't really know him either. Perfect...........NO! Gentleman who is a professional...........YES!

Nooooo lol I'm not excusing that garbage he's wearing but what does his off the field gear have to do with anything? I'm saying when he dresses in team gear he was labeled a thug. I mean what can he wear without being talked about? Lol

At least he ain't showing his bare butt to anyone?

Am I right? Am I right?

I can have a sense of humor sometimes too.

Brady, Manning all of them hate to lose. That Manziel is a bum, thug(club/bar fights/ beating on his girlfriend) I mean the list goes on. He's nothing and deserves to be treated like one. If he wasn't Johnny football he'd be locked up right now.

JM is much more than a bad sport. He is just bad and needs serious help. It is scary.

You are old! My 51 years on earth don't feel quite so bad now. :p

If I happen to be standing in front of you in Neyland Stadium, and you ask me to sit down, I now know I can say in all confidence...."Shut up old man! I paid to be here. If you don't like it, you should just stay at home and watch it on TV. Damn blue hairs trying to ruin my fun!"

18 years ago when then Broncos won the SB, the Vols followed it up with a Natty.

It's science.

Gonna be incredible when Peyton joins the Tennessee coaching staff this Summer...
Dobbs playing baseball 'cause Peyton already told him that 60 days with Peyton and his pass mechanics will be corrected.
Peyton will join the staff officially on 9/1/2016.

He can work with Dobbs as a Volunteer until then... :)

Yeah, this man is clearly not an attention whore.

Who does he think he is? Jim McElwain?

Why the **** have people been acting like Cam walking out on an interview was a direct afront to their mom? Now I realize where I am and that there are more than a few people on here that are short a few cards of a full deck, but this is ridiculous. We should be talking about Peyton Manning and his great career, not overblowing some benign event.

Jennings will be moved to safety.

Only reason coaches raved about him was to encourage his move away from quarterback. Not that he sucks at WR, but he was clearly not as good as their raving. They were throwing him a bone for taking a position change for the team.

Ya, who cares? He walked out on some bumbling media idiots who asked how he felt over and over

May be mistaken but he's never played receiver, i would say one fall camp isn't quite a long enough time to develop into something better than what Malone and Pearson and Johnson have to offer. They obviously thought he was good enough to throw him the very first pass of the season against BGSU.

Or maybe that was another way of rewarding the switch? I didn't say he couldn't become good, but the way the coaches talked, he was a 5* WR (as so many on here called him) ready to come in and dominate. He was clearly given some extra verbal love and some touches as a reward.

I do remember VQ saying they wouldn't be surprised to see him have almost as many touches as the leading receiver on the team. So I don't know if he coached pumped him or that was of their own opinion.

Regardless we agree he simply did not live up to what we had heard about him. Thankfully we had other options.

To the bigger point I think he needs to stay at receiver this spring and see what happens, who knows if our team starts getting sniped again like last year ;-P
