I didn't say anything about requirements.

If you wanna hear any athlete directly after a game, nevrmind the biggest of their career, don't cry if it doesn't make you hug momma. Lots of emotions directly after a game. Simple to understand.

Not sure why everyone is so upset ab a post game presser from Cam. Smh

Not sure why people are defending him walking out like a punk. It's not that hard to handle a 5 minute press conference.

Would you be cool with Dobbs acting like that next season if we lose to UF or Bama?

A personality like Cam is not really new to the league. Wide receivers have played and acted like that for years. Is it weird because he's a QB?

Not many if any WR are MVPs and the face of the NFL who celebrate like 10 seconds after a first down. That's fine if you do that, but got to take the questions when it gets handed to you. No one watches the press conferences of show boat wide receivers.

That's what I think. Every single DB dances after a PBU. Every sack is celebrated with a dance. WRs have danced in the end zone for years.

Cam doing it as a QB makes people uncomfortable. That is my take.

Anyway, I think if you're gonna be a leader you've got to handle some things better if you're Cam.

That may be true. The acting like you've been there before, is a old school thing.

I would definitely understand it. Being a part of competition emotions run high.. Could care less about other feelings outside a locker room

Like I said, I think he handled the whole thing weakly, but I'm not sure it was CLASSLESS per se. He was obviously devastated. Still have to handle it better, but he wasn't being a jerk about it or anything. He flat out acknowledged at some point that Denver played the better game.

Agreed. People throwing words around like arrogant too. I think they are confusing that words meaning.

He spoke highly of Manning in that interview last week to the point of fan-boy, star gazing like some on this board would act like.

He sat devastated at a press conference, acknowledged that Denver was better, didn't blame anyone or throw anyone under the bus, said "I'm sorry" and walked away when he couldn't handle it anymore.

I understand that. People love to give out the humble pie. It's still hypocritical. Not really taking up for Cam as much as I am pointing out the hypocrisy.

We all want to be judge and jury. It's in our nature. I get that.

I don't think its hypocritical..when I used to play BB I hated guys that would talk a lot of stupid crap, I always loved to be put on them, so I could shut them up. I think folks just like to see him be shut up. There is nothing hypocritical about that. It just is how it makes some people feel.

I actually like Cam. I was just wondering why people get so upset about people not liking him.

Personally, I think with Cam...next year will be the tell tale story. Just like Kapernick (sp) last year, will he be able to follow up? If so, he could very well be the future of the NFL QB.

I only brought it up because I get on Twitter and here and see several posts with the "how you like those apples" mentality. Calling him "scum" Newton. Stuff like that. Just seems like people would love to cram his nose in this loss if they could and would love to do a little dab dance to his face.

Not saying Cam didn't ask for that cause he did. But people who don't like sore winners shouldn't be sore winners.

Not new to the league at all. Joe Namath was a show boater. 50 years ago. The people that didn't love him hated him too.

Just doesn't make any sense to me. People whine about him showing off but can't wait to see him fail so they can gloat.

It's hypocritical. All I'm saying.

I think what's hypocritical is when he gets up there does his "Dab", simulates pulling his shirt off to reveal he's superman, loving that spot light when it's positive. But when that spotlight turn negative he acts like a spoiled brat.

It's easy to be classy when you win, although he struggles with that too, but your true character shows up when you lose. I think it's says volumes when the guys on the NFL network, Peyton's peers, talked about young quarterbacks needed to emulate Peyton in every way possible, on the field and off. Imagine how Peyton would have reacted to the loss and compare it to how Cam did.

Bigger story regarding Cam is his unwillingness to attempt to recover his own fumble.

Perhaps his Dad had the broncos double or nothing on that 180k

Quite possibly the biggest b**** move I've ever seen in the NFL. Especially when considering the situation & setting. Panthers are only down by 6 points & driving for the winning score in the last minutes of a Super Bowl, but the NFL MVP can't even attempt to dive and try to recover HIS OWN fumble for his team. Very "Superman" like, IMO.

My point is Cam or any one else doesn't owe me "good" answers to media whores asking Repetitive questions after a Superbowl loss...

Unlike yourself

Of course he doesn't. NFL QBs don't owe anyone anything. But if you want to complain about being treated unfairly by people for "dabbing" or dancing, you can't act like a punk after losing the Super Bowl. You just can't.

Peyton has always showed class and people have done him that way also.

Yes, it's simple. They are all pro athletes, and the reason I mentioned "requirement" is because they have to talk to the media win or lose. I can understand being disappointed, but do your job and answer the questions. PM does it. I guarantee you he would have sat there an hour if he won. Just do your job.

I really thought there would be more of a celebration in here with Peyton winning another ring. Especially since no one was giving the Broncos much of a chance in that game.

Came by to post this. For such a big tough guy he should have had no problem diving for that ball. That's pathetic.

I bet VN is a ghost town if we win the playoffs next season. This place is only hopping when bad stuff happens.
