Hooray for Peyton Manning! And in your face to all the Cam Newton worshipers. How you like them apples? Whooo!

I know Peyton does it.
I know Witten has come back a time or two.

I wonder what it would take to get Malik Jackson to come back and hang out with/teach the DL for a day.

I agree. Malik will be getting paid soon. Big time FA contract heading his way.

Not new to the league at all. Joe Namath was a show boater. 50 years ago. The people that didn't love him hated him too.

It was probably more of the fact that Joe Namath wasn't a good quarterback but was treated as though he was. Most overrated player in the history of football IMO.

I personally think Cam is a once in a 20 year or so talent but if he would have handled the loss with class he would have endured some of the haters to him. Instead he gave them fuel to their fire. It was very immature the way he responded.

So every NFC team is out looking for speed rushers after last night. Of course, pass rushers are already at a premium.

That D was nasty.

Malik Jackson bout to get paid.

What a career for PM! He left college as a subpar passing kid that just primarily ran around making plays with his feet

With hard work on his passing game he overcome others that were just more polished than him entering the draft.
Hard to believe he overcame and even beat a QB that he was vastly behind in passing ability

Just saw a clip from the Cam presser. As a fan of Cam's I gotta say, not a good look Cam. Can't do that. Doesn't matter if you're a showboat or not, you gotta take your medicine when you lose, especially as the QB. The fact that he is a showoff and now doesn't want to face the music just makes him look like a sore loser.

Criticism of his actions in the press conference is justified. You're the leader of the NFC champions and the MVP of the NFL. You can't act like that.

I hope he learns from this and comes back better than ever next season.

Also, Peyton is the GOAT.

Yeah I think this hits the nail on the head.

People see him pout earlier in his career, then see all the dancing and they're reminded of TO and other former players with fragile psyches. They call him out and he says it's because he's black.

Then he acts like that during and after the Super Bowl and it validates a lot of those opinions.

Media blew the "black" thing out of proportion. Cam wasn't playing the race card. Anyone who watched that segment could see that was not the case. If you just read the headline or maybe even an article about it I can see how it would seem that way but the video showed to me that he wasn't playing the race card. He probably shouldn't have even brought up race though.

He earned his criticism last night.

Quite possibly the biggest b**** move I've ever seen in the NFL. Especially when considering the situation & setting. Panthers are only down by 6 points & driving for the winning score in the last minutes of a Super Bowl, but the NFL MVP can't even attempt to dive and try to recover HIS OWN fumble for his team. Very "Superman" like, IMO.

Denver's D-Line literally had him cowering in fear.

I know the Cam discussion has been beaten to death. But, for those who don't have a problem with how he behaved, I think it's a pretty conclusive criticism when Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin are calling you out for it and saying (as have many on here) that you've got to be a man and face the cameras when things don't go your way.

My stance on Cam this year is that his antics didn't really bother me. He was just out there having fun and doing his thing. However, the way he handled the loss last night changes my opinion on how he acts when he succeeds. To me, the fact that he acts like a brat and a punk in defeat reveals to me that he is no more than that in victory.
