We need him one juco dt is not going to cut it on the dline. Even with limited numbers this would hurt. Its already bad enough not one high school dt. Nor true high school de. I know we are filling needs but we create bigger needs by not being balanced.

news this morning is that dad is literally refusing to sign his LOI for tennessee. Weird because Kongbo is 2 years out of high school. Think ole miss is paying dad?

I had a conversation with a recruiting reporter off the record and he said the coaches are very worried right now they are getting duped.

Sorry wish I had better news to relay...hope he is just blowing smoke up Ole Miss Coaches butt right now.

Interesting update from Ole Miss: "As of this morning, Ole Miss sources still feeling very optimistic about Jeffery Simmons, Shyheim Carter and A.J. Brown. Rebels still in the game on Mique Juarez and Rashan Gary (on the periphery; long shot at the best), but there's no major optimism that I've gathered." No mention of Kongbo.

Easily the weirdest recruitment for us this year. I'd be more bent out of shape that we are likely not getting him, but I just can't get that worked up over a JuCo D-lineman who hasn't played big competition. We will see.

I'm thinking we get Williams and that's it..top 20 class 7-8 in SEC..not great but not Dooleyesque either

It's not ideal but we'll be alright. We go three deep at DT this upcoming season, and we're only slated to lose O'Brien to graduation. It'll be the next year where we'll have lots of turnover. We're stacked at DE. Next year we lose Vereen and probably Barnett, but we still have guys like Phillips, Smith, Taylor, etc behind them.

2017 will have to be a big year for us on the DL. But we're by no means hurting. Our recruiting on the DL in the '14 and '15 classes meant that we could afford to be picky and swing for the fences in '16.

Why would his dad sign his LOI? Is this true GFW? Do parents have to sign the LOI? Good grief! What does his dad have against Tennessee? With defensive talent and one of the top DCs in the country!!!!!

From the beginning this kid has been a kid I really haven't coveted

If we miss here there will be a lot of posters join me in the "we didn't want him anyway"
