There's a big difference in answering a pole question over the phone and actually pushing a button in a booth. Wasn't Trump leading in the polls in Iowa?

I'm pretty surprised the evangelical's aren't carrying Cruz more in Tennessee.

I can't understand it but trump is getting a lot of the evangelical vote. He didn't last night and it's hard to understand. Jerry fallwell jr endorsing him is just more salt in the wound

Yes but iowa is much different. His supporters don't strike me as ones willing to spend a few hours listening to all candidates sell themselves

Hey Sam...went on the Rock N Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror for 1st time yesterday...oh my 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱!!!!! We didn't get to do those last year, because we had so much lined up for my daughter.

Those are must do's IMO. My daughter was a young teenager the first time we rode the RRC. As soon as it shot out of the starting gate she started yelling, "Daaaaaaadddddddyyyyyyy" all the way until the end. She never rode it again. lol.

Depends on what you call evangelical I guess. CEO (Christmas Easter Only) Christians - are they evangelicals?

The Haslams and current politicians are in the tank for Jeb currently. That problem will soon take care of itself. More than likely Rubio will be their go to. But their support will not be enough to push him over the top.

IMO this has always been a Cruz/Rubio battle. If Trump were to emerge as the pick, he will be facing great compromise along the way because over two thirds of the potential voters of a GOP candidate currently favor other candidates. Can't see him changing his spots. But I will vote for any GOP candidate opposed to Hillary or Bernie.

Trump has a pretty big lead here in Illinois, but I fully understand it. Most of our Republicans tend to be fiscal conservatives and we just elected a Republican billionaire as Governor who has never served office, basically a Trump without all the bravado.

The public is starved for fiscal responsibility from the government. Both parties have blown up the economy, budget, and deficit for years and most Americans know it. They also link terrorism and illegal immigration together as forces that can destroy the America we know. So business people with strong national defense stances can win offices. IMO, this is not a social issues election at all. It is a self preservation election.

Can't agree more

That's why I can't understand the polling

I would say they consider an "evangelical" anyone who identifies as a Christian.

I have an acquaintance that I think fits the mold of many Trump supporters in the south. He is a racist, bigot, redneck who probably hasn't voted or attended church in 20 years. I would still say that he identifies as Christian if he were asked.

Haha! My 5.5 year old girl was too small to do the roller coaster, but she did do the Tower of Terror. After the 1st drop, she was asking if it was almost over. Lol! Not gonna lie...inside my head, I was too!!

lol. The first couple of times at ToT is mind blowing. Even the second time when you know what is coming it will still get you. We have been to Disney as a family 4 times. Each time has brought great memories. I can't wait until the grandson is old enough to take. Gonna challenge my daughter to go Rockin' one more time while her old dad is still kicking.

One more tidbit. If you want to drive kids bonkers, sing It's a Small World to them over and over and over. Drives mine crazy. Then you can always threaten them with it whenever you need to settle them down. :)

Lol! Space Mountain was fun. My daughter chickened out.

This. Know many exactly the same way.

In the vernacular of real evangelicals, Trump appears to be a cultural Christian. Change the culture and he becomes as the culture. Which is how his political views have "evolved" through the years. Which is also how it is with many claiming to be a Christian. They like the thought of it, but actually giving their lives over to the Lord and going against the flow is a bit much. One cannot stand before millions of people on television and disparage others openly without regard to them as people; and be a committed, practicing Christian.

Lol. She will get her nerve up before long and you will have even more laughs. Back when there were more small amusement parks in various places, most had Wild Mouse rides that go fast and sling you around. Space Mountain is a big Wild Mouse ride in the dark with the flashing lights. The apprehension in making your way through the line is part of the build up. A lot of fun.

Very sorry for your loss! Now recruiting seems silly.

Thank you. His wife was always cheating on him and saying she was going to leave him. Their daughter was two and he just could not handle it. He had told her before he would commit suicide if she left. She apparently did not care. He called her right before and she told no one until two hours had passed. We never knew if she did not believe him or if she really wanted him to do it.

If someone says they will commit suicide in your life then please do not ignore their cry for help. The fact that he was saying that was something I never knew until after the fact.

My little brother committed suicide November of 2014. I know your pain. All too well.
