I'll say what I said in the Warrior thread panic now if you want but there's no point in it now since this is how they get their money. Now if we start getting commitments from people that aren't the 4 being talked about then you know 1 or more aren't coming here

Edit- and the panicking wasn't directed at you I just know it's coming

Don't the Auburn boards have a "skeeter"? If so you'd think there would be alot of Warrior talk on their forums

Two more days of this glorious madness. The ebb and flow of emotions on here make for a lot of entertainment.

We will finish with at least a good class this year, which is what most of the regular RF'ers were calling for all along. With less numbers and specific needs to be filled, it has actually been playing out that way the whole time.

If we finish with a great class this year, it's a bonus. If we don't, it still takes nothing away from what Butch and staff have been able to accomplish. We will still be getting the class most expected this year. Next years recruiting....whoa Nellie....hang on to your butts, it's gonna be a three ring circus.

So we can go crazy about his "I made a huge mistake" tweet but you don't want to read too much into this tweet? Wtf!!! I know why it's called silly season now. Were there any tweets with brown in auburn gear saying auburn is home, but everyone has written him off saying he took the money from auburn and he's gone. I think he could've tweeted he is a vol and y'all would've twisted that into him saying he's trolling. Nsd needs to hurry up so y'all can chill out. I wish I could quit looking at this board but it's so damn entertaining

Its always so entertaining. It seems like Monday is full of hand wringing and despair while Tuesday is a day of boundless optimism. Then Wednesday: elation...or meltdown.

Yep. That's why I enjoy it so much. Because regardless of what people say to try and stem the tide of emotions, they are going to happen anyway.

Reminds me of when you interview for a job you really want. You walk out knowing you nailed it, but as the days go by you start to doubt and curse yourself for possible mistakes you made. By the time you get the call back you've already talked yourself out of the possibility of getting the job, then elation hits....

So "ya'll" can chill out? The regular posters in the RF actually follow recruiting and have for years. The RF is where the logical, rationale posters hang out... except for a few weeks a year when it's overrun with the lunatic fringe of the fanbase. :hi:

Agreed. Good post. I have become super anti-ESPN when it comes to any type of analysis or sports dialogue. They're basically Fox News. And that's probably going to make somebody mad that I said that. But both channels create and dwell on drama and odd story angles that ask you to turn you brain off and let them tell you what to think and which parts to focus on (Quarterbacks! Gay marriage! Immigrants!! Rah rah!). It distracts from the thoughtful potential conversations that could be taking place. But those types of conversations don't drive ratings. Which is a damn shame. It's all a big distraction to drive their agenda and make their wallets fat. And Americans are lopping it up like puppies.

22nd in the country isn't going to "cut it." Hopefully, we will have a strong next 3 days.
