Thunderbird wine. Back in the day (I won't get down to specific years or decades), it was the rot gut, cheap wine of choice. At one point, 88 cents a bottle. Now, if you can find it, about $5. Earnest and Julio Gallo, you should be ashamed for overcharging like that.

Now I've seen the light and heard the word
And I'm staying away from that ol' dirty thunderbird
A message come from heaven radiant, and fine,
All I drink now is communion wine
Six days a week

That's not the real stuff... That's the gov't version of moonshine. And you can still get the real deal about anywhere in middle to east TN, if you know the right people

There have been a lot of great classics through the years. I always thought it classy that they didn't mess up beautiful tin caps with phony plastic wrap. This stuff probably precipitated more cheap-date sex for college kids and hobos then any other drink genre.

Usually I don't like to contribute to screwing up a thread's intended purpose, but I believe in this case it was warranted.

My cheap drunk in the good ole days was a 32 oz PBR and as many pulls on a bottle of Kentucky Gentleman as it took. Nasty stuff, but it did the trick.

He realized the canes get fewer fans to a home game than Byrd had show up at his teeball games.

Final straw was he stopped at waffle house and they were giving out free canes season tickets with purchase of an order of biscuits and gravy.

Vols it is.

No one eats WH biscuits and gravy. Is that the root of their attendance problem?

Well yeah, if you're going to drink it neat. But throw in a little Coke and you can't tell the difference.

I was partial to Boones Farm myself. Strawberry Hill.

Numbers can seem hard, but really they are not. When properly used they can be your friend.

1 2 3 4 5 - names

If we can take 1 2 3 4 5 people we can take all 1 2 3 4 5 names.

If we can only take 1 2 3 4 people, then 1 of those names will be left off. If names 1 2 3 & 4 say yes, then name 5 is the one left off. If any one of 1 2 3 & 4 say no, then name 5 is in.

See how simple and fun numbers can be. :)

I need to take you shopping..

The Dooley days are back...in basketball.

Just jacked an air ball on that one, bud. You have to give CRB the same flexibility as you gave Butch. He has to recruit his roster. No PG and a few minutes from the only center you have that is a true freshman. The forwards are also shorties. This bunch has always been a 13 win team at best.
