I'm not sure about that quote, but there is an OLD report from 2014 that said something similar. Today's report does not let Freeze off the hook, only saying:

"This is the latest step in a long, laborious NCAA investigation, part of which predates football coach Hugh Freeze’s arrival at Ole Miss in 2012."

Ole Miss fans are spinning that as if the violations were pre Freeze. That's not what that says at al (no matter how badly they want it to lol).

IN other words, just because the investigation started before he got there, doesn't mean that it hasn't found a ton of @#$# on him.

If it was within 7 years, it doesn't matter. And the article mentioned Tunsil using dealer cars. I think Schad's behind the 8 ball.

They need to look into Nkemdiche and Treadwell, too.

I just find it amazing that not only did Freeze cheat his ass off to land those three, but they all turned out to be first round draft pick level players.

If Butch went all in and cheated for a recruit, we would end up with the next Jake Heaps or something. Basically already happened with Kiffin and Bryce Brown, to be honest.
