Probably, although I'm not sure what case they have. We've been in on him for a while.

Tennessee has things to sell, as do Georgia and Auburn...Ole Miss really baffles me though. Small stadium, facilities are lacking, no real success to brag about, what history they do have is mostly racist, small town. There is just no way anyone can look at that program right now and conclude that they aren't cheating to sign these high level guys.

This recruitment has gotten to the point where I have absolutely no idea what's going on or what's going to happen next. I give up trying to understand it. If Kongbo ends up signing with UT then I'll be thrilled. But for all the people who like to assign percentages to recruits - 60/40 he signs with UT, etc - I don't think they've invented the number yet that describes this guy's odds of signing with any particular place.

Ole Miss has been NOTHING..EVER. They have no tradition..crap facilities..and a HC that had no reputation...yet suddenly..from nowhere they start pulling top 5 classes? If you don't think that screams cheating, then you are deaf.

The coaches not going to see the parents could be good or bad but the big tell in this is Vq

Vq obviously knew the coaches were prepared to go. If the coaches were told by the kid "I am a vol no need to go see my parents" Vq would be much more optimist In their report IMO

Unless Vq is covering up good news on purpose then the coaches not going to see the parents tells me this one is over and we are out.

On the flip side, wouldn't they be dropping more hints that we are out of it? I've seen them slow play us on commits not to ruin the kid's moment, but they are usually pretty open about it when are out.

Whether the Vols get Kongbo or not, Volnation is a better place because of this thread and because of the picture of the guys with the ice cream cones.

I think Vq and the coaches are as confused as the rest. It seems clear to me that Vq thought we were the leader a few days ago. Now they admit to guessing.

When Kongbo visited Ole Miss did his parents go as well? Have his parents already met out coaches? That may explain why Freeze went to meet with them .... $$$$ or is it they don't want our coaches seeing their new gifts brought forth from Oxford. Just seems odd that Kongbo didn't want them to go visit his parents again especially when the coaches are making the effort. Now I kind of hope he does visit FSU this weekend to make Ole Mi$$ nervous.

His parents came with him to Knoxville but did not go to Oxford.

What really ticks me off is that I really never thought we needed this guy anyway. Then after everybody told me how stupid that was, I reconsidered my position. I figure if the majority saw it different, maybe I was wrong. I still dont think Kongbo is a must have like Warrior, Brown or Dickerson because I believe we are already 2 deep in talented player at DE..but..I now believe that anytime you can get a 5* DE, you take him..y'all convinced me. Also his shiny ✨ 5 stars would help shut up the stargazing "oh noes our class isn't top ten! Butch sucks at recruiting now!" crowd...So now thanks to you bums, I am going to letdown when we don't get this cat...losers. ��
