During another interview on a different day. He was clearly speaking about a POW and he clearly said he didn't like John McCain because he was captured. The context is there.

For him to later go back and say "I like people who weren't captured" "I like people who were captured too".

That doesn't even make sense. If you like POWs you wouldn't make such an ignorant statement in the first place.

To be completely honest:

Do I actually think trump hates POWs? No.

Do I think he misspoke? Not at all. He was intentionally and clearly mocking McCain for having been captured. That's evident.

I would put 8188 on ignore, but it's much too funny watching himself make a total and complete ass of himself.

How am I making a total and complete ass of myself? By not being a trump apologist and denying what he clearly said?

"He isn't a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured."

No honest person can read that and say "he misspoke". He's 100% mocking McCain for being a pow

I took it that he liked all veterans. Not just because one was or wasn't captured.

Well I probably should be when I take all those meds. Granny says they make me a mean old man. I have 3 that I take as needed, according to Granny I don't always need them when I take them. :)
