My thing is this, Dobbs has his bad passes and that's fine. But explain to me on 3rd and 9-12 why a WR would run a route 15 yards? Dobbs throws the back shoulder fade very well. And I've seen him throw to spots where the WR misreads the coverage. Dobbs being an extremely smart QB dissects coverages very well. Our WRs don't all the time. Also I've watched our WRs fail to win 85-90% of the time on 50/50 passes. You watch any of the successful passing attacks and you'll see aggressive WRs that consistently win versus one on one coverage. Our guys do not do that. Kinda hard to be a good passer if WRs aren't where they are supposed to or they don't make plays. Dobbs surely looks good hitting a TE that runs good routes in stride. Or delivering very catchable passes to them. Malone for one should've had big plays in about 11 games. He's got to just step up and do what he was recruited for. He's basically 6'3 and playing like he's 5'3.
I co-sign this. That he can throw a back shoulder throw so well says about all you need to know about his ability. I've seen the same with our WR corps and it's frustrating. That said, I do blame some of it on the OL not being there yet in pass pro and Dobbs' having to look to scramble all the time because of that (that messes up his footwork and is responsible for the couple of wild passes he throws every game).
Shoop is the first thing I can remember Eazy getting right in a long long time and it kind of fits his pattern of just picking out popular rumors and saying they're going to come true. Blind squirrels, nuts, and all that.
I don't remember notorious.
So Butch could close
Brown
Kongbo
Warrior
Dickerson
Byrd
Calloway (done)
This would be 1 5 star Juco, and 5 top 100 players.
Talk about smashing a recruiting class.
That would give us 7 top 100 players and the top Juco.
Basically 8 of the top 105 or so players in the county.
Thats 1/13th of the top 105 or so.
Now, odds are he misses on a couple and it would still be a great closing with
4 Top 105 talents and having 6 of the top 105 or so.
EZ has been right a lot more than wrong. And he calls things before they are sure things. He's not perfect, but he's solid.
And notorious gets info from coaches from what I remember.
Deerpark is one of the most accurate posters on the board if he just posts within his sphere of insiderness.Disagree about Eazy. I'm not on a crusade, don't hate the guy, just saying if somebody asks who the most reliable insiders are (and they did ask) I think it's worth noting that there are people who dont put a lot of stock in what he says.
To be fair, I think he's more accurate than Deerpark, but since that guy doesn't post over here I don't see everything he posts.
I don't see QD sticking around

You mean our passing offense. Our rushing offense was near the top of the conference. Teams knew we couldn't pass and they still couldn't stop our rushing attack.
