Ok so why not. I think everyone should here this story too. In college I started having lots of questions about stuff, the universe, God, creation, evolution etc; normal stuff. So I went to a man that I trusted and still do just because I know how much knowledge he has and his faith also. I'd never heard him vary from the version of the Bible I read and you do, I hadn't ever realized it wasn't the original I was young.
But he said that he spent seven years learning the Bible the way it was written before ever being translated to teach to the world, but for Gods people the ancient Hebrew people. And that a lot was the same, until you get in the Garden of Eden. We only talked creation because it was my question. He said the 3rd party in the garden wasn't the devil himself. He was a man named Lahish. Common name. He was their servant and was from the land of Nod. It said he was the most subtle beast of all the land.
Lahish was evil in the form of temptation not the devil himself. He talked Eve into taking from the tree of life, which God forbid her and Adam from doing. And so if the fruit of an apple tree is an apple, then our fruit is children, and the tree of life is Eve's womb. So this servant seduces Eve, she feels ashamed and covers her body. By now I'm like BS but damn it actually sounds much more realistic than the serpent/Apple version. Then Eve convinces Adam to also. They have two children, one from Adam, Able who's accepted by God, and Cane who is from Lahish who is rejected, filled with pain and hate, kills Able and is sent out of the garden. I know it's crazy and makes Divinci Code seem like Sesame Street but this actually adds up. It explains evolution. Their were people here already but God created Adam and Eve in his image for himself. And the story fits better than the fairy tale about the ate an apple and covered vagina??? Anyway sorry, it is something I thought maybe atleast one of you out there would find as interesting as I do.
Don't tweet this to Ron Howard, I want the movie rights.
