The article I read was titled "Saban Stands out to mother of elite DB". It never mentions UT.It's on 247Sports this morning.

That was written entirely from an Alabama perspective regarding his visit this weekend and there is your typical input from Keith and Kipp included... Again, if you're looking for articles suggesting that Tennessee leads for Warrior, they are not hard to find although clearly Alabama and Georgia (and perhaps even Auburn now) are still in play.

Predictions like this boggle my mind.

Do you really believe you'll get props for this if after the fact your horrible prediction becomes true?

Dude its called having an opinion. You come off as robotic ya know? Everything that is said is positive. Humans have a mix of positive and negative emotions and feelings. For someone to be negative or positive all time is weird and unnatural. Balance my friend.

Pretty good article from Ryan Callahan at 247. Positive for the Vols..

DB Nigel Warrior’s mother discusses Tennessee, other contenders

“I think he really enjoyed the coaching staff until the change,” Tangie Warrior said. “This official visit that we come up for, I think that’ll be a time for us to see if it all fits and jells again, since we haven’t been around the new coordinator, (Jeremy) Pruitt. We didn’t spend much time with him when he was at Georgia.”

She said former Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart’s decision to leave for Georgia, where he’s now the Bulldogs’ head coach, “most certainly” has made an impact on her son’s recruitment.

“I wouldn’t say (it is) a positive for either (Georgia or Alabama),” Tangie Warrior said. “I think it’s more of a negative, because now Kirby, he is the head coach — not the defensive coordinator. Even though he would play a part, he’s the head coach that has more responsibility than he did when he was at Alabama.”

Nigel Warrior’s opportunity “to get on the field” and earn early playing time, she said, will be among the factors that play a role in his final decision.

“One would be where he would be able to get on the field and play, because that’s important to him — being able to play,” Tangie Warrior said. “And I’m just going to repeat what he’s saying, but he also wanted to make sure I can get to the games, so I think those two are important to him — making sure I can get to all of his games.”

Tangie is his mother.

This portion is her thoughts on UT:

“His father did play there, and they have really just embraced him,” Tangie Warrior said. “They’ve just showed him a lot of love and made him feel like family there.

“I mean, we’ve pretty much liked everything about Tennessee. I mean, there’s really nothing (not) to like. Even when we compare them to the other schools, there’s really nothing (not) to like about any of them, really.

“The atmosphere is good, the relationships, the openness. Of course, the academics, it lines up with what he wants to do. But I compare it to a lot of other schools that we’ve found similar things, too. I guess, for him, it starts to get to, ‘OK, now if I feel like I have the great relationship, now I have to look at, where will I stand on the field? Will I be able to play? Will I be able to do those type of things?’”

Reading this puts it in a different light. It is not like he expects anything to be given to him. But, wants to have opportunities to play as soon as possible because he loves to play the game. I really can understand this. Only so many snaps in real football. It is not like other sports where you can just go get some guys together and play like basketball. When football is over, it is over pretty much for the rest of your life. So, if you love it, I can understand playing as much of it as possible. Hope we get him. His desire and ability would really impact the team.

Kipp Adams CB for the Vols.

Can't believe there are still people posting like this isn't/hasn't been a done deal. Warrior is gonna be a Vol guys, some of you need to accept that. We are good. Literally everyone that has any sort of credibility has said as much.
