What's your ministry, Nick?

My wife is a teacher at the international school. I work with university students, learn language, and run and train for a course known as Alpha. I also volunteer my time at a gym in the evenings, training university students in strength training. There's more, but that's the main idea.

You can sign up for our monthly email updates to get a better idea here. Our email updates have a link to our Facebook page as well, which you can feel free to join. I apologize if that is against the forum rules. :hi:

Wasn't intended toward me, but thanks for the link. I've heard you talk of your mission in the past, but I was unable to find the info. Very interesting reading so far. However, is it tacky of me to say I'm disappointed not to see any mention of the cobra?!?

:)

I try to stay relatively Vol oriented here, so I don't talk much about the ministry aspect unless questioned.

Folks love to get offended nowadays. The cobra pics are mostly for you guys. I don't want people crawling up my tree over it, :eek:lol:

We're different folk up here in hill tribe country. Bangkok is like NYC, busy, crowded, etc. culturally, Chiang Rai to Bangkok is East Tennessee compare to NYC. I love it here. It's even going to dip down to 45 here in a couple of days. It's nice to have a little chill each year :)

Nick...weather similar to Florida? Perhaps a touch more humid (if that is possible)?

Bangkok is a place that is nice to visit but when you leave you are glad. Surat Thani is nice, lush and green. Lots of rubber and palm trees and cobras sadly.

If it comes down to Hillary and Trump it's a no brainer to vote for Trump. Hillary will target all the same groups that Obama's campaign did and it will take every red blooded, God fearing, hard working one of us to make it stop after 8 yrs. she simpathizes with the Syrian children but supports abortion here, already accepted (pay attention) a 10 million dollar donation from Iran to the Clinton Foundation. I'd say they've bought her simpathy also. If you guys want losing our gun rights, God removed from our countries foundation, open borders to people who want to kill us, more jobs to China, keep burying our country deeper in debt until we break and Pesos are worth more than the dollar, and a turned cheek to a Shiite Muslim country with nukes, go for it. I will move to Canada. Trump is a crazy man but what's worst case? Borders tightened up, more things made in the USA, a confident bully shot caller who actually has our countries best interest in mind. Keep our guns, economy likely perks up, and damn after 911 maybe he might make an effort to put our real enemy on the big screen, they declared war that day and it was just the beginning. In 7 years our countries free thinkers forgot. While we are waiting for the next bombing or wondering where's Osamas cave and thinking these guys are under control, the corrupt liberal side of our govt campaigned to the poor and minority groups and ungodly think for yourself, guns kill people crowd and actually got one of them elected, and have subtly started taking away what it is to be an American one rebel flag, Gay marriage, Gun, Chinese loan check to fund military efforts to relocate Syrians, and Goodyear plant closed at a time. We need the polar opposite and hopefully enough of the people cut from the same fabric as our fore fathers are left to out vote the people who put a guy in office who after a Isis attack says that it's a gun problem. Man just once if he'd just say Islamic Extremists attacked these people out of hate and its a problem. He's taking our countries religion away, my nephew can't have God in school but the Muslim kids do have an area to go pray alone on a carpet or some **** and respect to their beliefs are practiced. Wth? People it is a religious thing, Muslim hate of Jews and Christians is the problem. Every person who thinks I'm lying and thinks oh it's ok, that's what our enemy wants us to do. Pretend that we are safe again, make your profile pic the French flag for two weeks after an obvious ********** hate shooting, and then let the desensitization of who we are creep back in. All those men who fought for freedom and built this country would line all of us up in a row and proceed to paint brush slap us silly for even thinking of voting for Hillary. Trump is a goofball but I trust him, I respect him, I feel he would call a spade a spade basically and keep our best interest as Americans as a top priority. maybe religious beliefs and political groups and law enforcement are all here to actually provide a backbone and stability to protect our way of life and questioning that and thinking its ok to think for yourself instead and accept abominations to God as ok in our society, that's your right but guess what, Muslims want to kill you too, you are grouped together with Jews, and Christians, and all the other Gentiles so let's just use common sense and out of mere self preservation and nothing else go with the Old bossy goofball who wants to protect our rights to defend ourselves and keep them out of our country. Or the ayatollah's sell out lying friend. Hmm. Decisions. Reagan isn't walking through that door guys, There may not be the right guy, but there is obviously a wrong one. if they can bribe poor people with govt provided cell phones for votes and then lie and deny why Americans are murdered then I can say whatever the hell I want. I May be an ignorant red neck but I am intolerant to lying and cheating and taking my tax money to bribe unfortunate people for votes and haul Islamic refugees into my neighborhood. Take my taxes and provide military protection over there on there land. Or not. Whatever is best for us. These are such easy decisions.

This is a football board. This political crap should be moved to its appropriate board or deleted.

Ted Cruz will get my primary vote and I hope most everyone else's. He's a guy who can do the good things a Trump might do without all the crazy baggage. One things for sure. Tennessee will be red state on election day no matter who it is so vote in the primary. It's important.

Humidity can be brutal. Often at 100% with no rain. It is currently cool season and will still hit 90 tomorrow. The lowest I've ever seen was probably high 30's a couple of years ago. If it does hit 45 in the next couple of days, that's the coldest this season

Well, I think I'll continue to hang out in the Sunshine State... :)

Lol, let the PETA folks head out there and see how they handle the Cobras!

I live on a farm out here, so I have to deal with my own non PC animal issues, mainly coyotes round here.
