Battle at Bristol Attendence

I'm sure there are a few, although I'm not sure if exact seats and sections have been found out yet by people who got them. I live about 10 minutes from VT and less than 100 miles from Bristol and I'm totally going. So I'm looking for seats as well.

Is Vivid Seats a legit site?

Is there anywhere to buy tix still?

secondary market only but they may not have any at this juncture. Tennessee will not get anymore tickets. If people that put deposits down forfeit those deposits, then Tennessee may have some after March to sell

At the moment, no. If ticket holders that reserved seats with a deposit elect not to purchase the tickets they reserved, then those seats will go on sale by the schools.

The speedway is completely sold out. They are looking into adding some additional seating that could push the crowd above the 160k that has been estimated. Around 150,000 tickets have been either purchased or reserved with a non-refundable deposit through the speedway and the two schools.

As a long time Bristol season ticket holder I have a low (or high priority) number for seat selection. I received an email last week that Bristol season ticket holders which says We know you’ve been waiting with great interest, not just for kickoff, but to find out what seating, parking, and camping locations you’ll have for the big game.

We’re happy to say our allocation process is almost finished and want to let you know the next steps going forward. • Seating, Parking & Camping Location Notification – As soon as all the payments are processed, we will email seating notifications to all priority customers. All of the locations for people who placed a deposit were assigned prior to any Battle Friday or Battle Lottery customers, fulfilling the promise that existing BMS Season Ticket Holders and Cup ticket holders would receive the best seating, parking and camping locations available from BMS. • Due to the number of transactions to be processed, we anticipate this email being delivered during the week of January 25th.
• Since seating allocations are ongoing, BMS will not release any seat locations via phone prior to this email going out.
• Official Battle At Bristol Ticket Exchange – BMS will also be launching a new ticket resale marketplace for the Battle At Bristol to allow fans to buy/sell/transfer tickets for the game. This will be the ONLY place where tickets sold on the secondary market will be guaranteed by Bristol Motor Speedway. More details regarding this service will be announced when seating notifications go out.
Hope this helps

So let me get this straight- this is a UT vs VT football game & BMS season ticket holders have priority over Tennessee or VT donors for said seating, parking and camping? Sorry if so, that doesn't sound right to me & this is completely my own feelings.

We get our notifications February 1st.. so there.. :p

That's not surprising really. My friend is a Dallas Cowboys fan/season ticket holder and gets priority seating opportunities for events (college football games, concerts etc) at Jerry's World.

This is true... but look at the universities seats at Tampa.... Luckily we have had 5 season tickets for 15 years at Bristol so we are high on the priority list for seating for the game.

that is the case for events at most venues where pro sports are located, like the SuperDome, Georgia Dome, etc. I know for bowl games they get options on tickets

Vividseat is just another secondary ticket distributor. Of course no one has tickets right now, they have not been released yet.

As a Predator season ticket holder I get first crack at tickets/seating for all Bridgestone events hockey, music or otherwise...even the SEC events.

What's your priority number? Mine is in the 700's. I was thinking that was a good number, but really have no clue.

GBO!

I think the NCAA record of 118,000 (I think at Michigan) will fall! I think 130,00 will show up. I think the 85,000 Vol fans will show up and 45,000+ Hokie fans will attend.

I live in Bristol and own a campground right across the street from the Speedway. They are able to sit 165000 in the stands but are also looking at the possability of adding temporary seating on the front and back straitaways and will be putting temporary seating in the endzones. They are calling these seats the battlefield and they are $400 a pop. The addition of those will take it to around 190,000. Should know in a couple of weeks if they have enough interest to do this so as of now they have sold around 150,000.

If they've still got tickets why wasn't I notified that I could get tickets. I entered the raffle last year.

don't think that many Tennessee fans are going to be able to get tickets. Could be wrong but that is what I think.

there are likely to be 50-75K not fans of either school trying to go to this "event". that is what has been driving up demand. it is an event that will have the largest crowd of any football game in the history of football. People want to be there. I have had requests from dozens of non-UT fans on how they can get tickets.
