I don't understand how we've determined Cam Sutton is returning? Shoop just mentioned him in the presser or was something else said?

I listened to the presser. I didn't hear anything that explicitly said that Sutton was returning. I think others are taking something out of context.

Great news! It feels as if a perfect storm is brewing! Come on Cam and Alvin, give it one more year to accomplish something truly special!

Earlier on in the presser he mentions a few guys by name as "returning pieces" and mentions Sutton.

However, later on (also after I made my initial post re this topic) he says "IF Cam decides to come back..."

so, maybe he has a good feeling about it, or maybe he was talking about his though process before he took the job

Either way, keeping Cam here is obviously a high priority for a guy who wants all the pieces to return to a unit that he feels is championship caliber

JRM announcement that he will return for his senior year is very encouraging, especially with the addition of Bob Shoop DC.

Ok, I think I have an idea. But I don't know for sure as I've only been a Vol since 2007. But my guess is he holds the single season rushing record...
