I'm confused about the buyout part. Did penn state just put his buyout under the bridge or what? I would assume penn state would like that 800k unless they did him a favor and said don't worry about it?

Maybe Shoop said "you can let me out of the buyout and I'll go peacefully, or you can pay me the $X million left on my contract when you fire Franklin next year and the new guy fires me."

it's reasonable that PSU saw Shoop's contract as a liability and this was an out.

Shy Tuttle is going to be a beast. Wouldn't want to be trying to block him, especially if I play for Georgia. He will be out to inflict some pain on the O line that broke his leg on a dirty play. Not that Tuttle will repay in kind, but he will want to make a statement. He will be quite motivated.

The team as all Winter, Spring practice, Fall practice and early games to get ready. Not a problem.

This is a good thing. This means we aren't going to implement a completely new scheme, just making some technique tweaks and adjustments to a scheme the quays are already familiar with.
