Folks, look at the quoted portion of the story from PFort and read the last part where Warrior wants to see how coaching changes shakeout. That part means one of two things: Warrior was referring to the other schools' coaching vacancies or he was talking about the other schools' vacancies and the UT DC vacancy that he was expecting. Certainly, I'm not sure it is a great development with Warrior referencing UT's stability but I think these guys are savvy enough recruiters that this shouldn't take our top defensive targets by surprise. After all, Butch and Jancek just didn't sit down this morning and decide to part ways. As the rumors suggest, and as commonsense dictates, this was long in the works, particularly with Butch parting ways with a long time friend and colleague that had our defense playing pretty well. All I can say is that Butch better have his guy vetted and primed to take the job because coordinator hires in pivotal seasons has been the death knell of more than one coaching regime.

All I did was say we had no shot at Richmond and Phillips and got branded an ole Miss fan. Didn't realize having an opinion not popular would result in that. I'm as VFL as anyone (and have been suspended on here a few time to show for it...lol)

Ha. My post was referring to an occurrence from a while back...Tux was puffing his chest out about being a UT grad and ended up posting a pic of his diploma on here.

That will teach you not to state in affirmatives. After going to law school, I hardly ever say something as fact unless I know it to be. Just changes your way of thinking. And to top it off, we are talking about recruiting high school kids, who change their minds every day.

I think it may hurt us with Warrior. It didnt seem like he was a Vol lock to begin with and then his statements about stability, then JJ leaves. I honestly cannot see how this change helps us with Warrior anyway.
