Lol nothing against UK fans but wow....just reading that thread you all linked was hilarious. They actually think they have a legit shot at him, but mostly for ridiculous reasons.

My favorite was the guy who posted that Kongbo must be really interested in UK because he said "he was blessed to receive an offer from him. Why else would he use such a strong word like blessed if he isn't excited."

Obviously they aren't paying attention to how recruits act on twitter at all because just about every kid tweets out "blessed to get an offer from......." every time it happens.

Honestly UK is stupid for waiting so long. But a lot of other schools are doing the same. Shot in the dark I suppose.

Fans are dumb too.

There was a Tweet about how Nick Saban at Alabama was promising Kongbo a starting job if he decided to go play for the Tide, Washington hasn't taken that approach, however. "Coach K didn't guarantee me a starting job -- he did say that if I do what I do on tape at practice, then it would work itself out."

"It's very important for me to make the right decision -- and it's not just for me but for my family. My dad was a poor farmer and struggled to get my family out (of the Congo), so God-willing, when I get to the NFL I'm going to buy my family a house."

The UW 247 writer said that UW may have a slight advantage right now because of proximity to Seattle and UW's current defensive play - per the article -

No mention of UT other than to say the he committed to UT but then "opened it up" once many more offers came in. If you read the article, IMHO, it's a pretty biased update on his recruitment.

One part that I found funny was a poster after the article. Here's what he said:

Maggitt would be nuts to stay, Kongbo was a longshot, phillips is and will be a Vol.

Theres few truths in recruiting. If there is an instate DL that LSU wants, they get them.

Right. Obviously this proves that Butch can't recruit and Phillips is going to transfer to Vandy. Cancel next season, fire Butch, fire Hart, am I missing something?
