It's been well deserving of the hype. Granted I'm binge watching, but so far there's not been a bad episode that I can remember. I know it's based on novels but I like how you really don't know when a character is going to die, and 10 episodes a season is perfect; another thing The Walking Dead could stand to pay attention to, that more isn't always better.

I would still put it behind Breaking Bad as far best show I've ever seen but it's probably neck and neck with Fargo as the best show on the air right now IMHO.

I got GoT ahead by a nose (mainly because bewbs) :)

Fargo and BB are more similar than most might realize; very alike in structure and style philosophies. And both conjure up incredibly off beat and creative ways to keep the viewer fully engaged with every scene.

I'm through Season 4 now. So by Sunday I'll be caught up.

Another point The Walking Dead writers need to take note.....GoT shows you exactly how to show different groups doing different things AND be able to move the story along just fine.

Bran has been built up to do something great, that's for sure. Otherwise, his storyline has been a waste.

Definitely. I'm curious to see where Martin takes him. I know a lot of people who hate the story line but I can't help but be suspicious of greatness :question:

The Red Wedding has become a term in the lexicon of the internet now for any huge spoiler that occurs (or the episode of it in general.) I can't think of anyone who has even just a passing knowledge of Game of Thrones who doesn't know about the Red Wedding, whether they've seen it or not. Before I started the show was an episode after the Red Wedding happened, and seeing the reactions from people online and throughout social medial is why I decided to binge watch it.

Even before season 1 of GoT, it's hard to make the case that someone can "spoil" details of the storylines when the books have been out for years...

The details between the book and television Red Weddings were VASTLY different.

Lot of working parts. Most shows wouldn't have the brilliant writing that makes it work.

Yeah it's pretty awesome. Never hated characters so much. I heard that they kill off all the main characters. Couldn't believe the end of season 1 with that early death.

That was a gamechanger! Even shocked the actors. They don't write scared for sure.
