I fear that may never happen again. Too many FF'ers have infiltrated and now believe they actually have a freaking clue about recruiting.....or anything else football related for that matter.

So this is a rumor I've heard. No confirmed sources, but have any of you heard that Phillips is transferring? One of my buddies said he's heard that it is a distinct possibility

I read Basilio's blog this morning and saw that possibility floated. Must be something to it. But until there's an announcement I'm not going to worry about it. Thought it was odd.

Why would he transfer? He got playing time as a true FR, even with an injury. He's only going to see his minutes increase.

Which leads me to the question...Why in the f--k was Jumper out there to begin with? If I had to guess I would say it had to do with Jumper being more seasoned and the staff felt more comfortable with him. Wish they had made the switch sooner.

I think they knew DKjr was their man, and wanted him to go in and have success- at least that's what I'm hoping happened.

True freshmen always start thinking this time of year. New life on campus, difficulties adjusting, maybe the season didn't go as expected for them, and then the familiarity of family when holiday season rolls around.

Just relax and let the coaches handle it. If there is validity to it, you can bet they've already been aware of it

Question for the panel:

I was tied in the first round of playoffs at the end of yesterday's afternoon games. Nobody left for either team.

I check the tie breaker: it's bench points. I drop Jeremy Hill for AJ McCarron. Barring catastrophe, I should have just clinched a 2 point victory (would have lost by about 15 if I'd kept Hill).

So was that cheap or brilliant?

I wonder how Pearson performs at the combine/pro-day. He's the type of player who I feel may have a solid career as a pro, in spite of limited college success

I agree, he has a pro receiver feel to him. I don't think he gets enough credit. He usually always catches the ball when thrown his way.
