Peyton Manning is a public figure, so actual malice applies. But the media ran defamatory stories with reckless disregard for whether the published information was false or true. In fact, the information was published after Manning had issued a statement publicly disputing the claims, and the media had no evidence or credible source to the contrary. There are multiple grounds for legal action by either Peyton or Ashley Manning.

As a Patriots fan I must remind other Patriots fans that Tom Brady is indeed a douche who has done some not so good things in his life like leaving his pregnant girlfriend for a Victoria Secret's supermodel.

It's a weird compliment. They're alleging that Peyton doing anything to get to a portion of fully healthy is a "competitive advantage". :)

Wth all due respect Boca, the split second the original arse**** "reporting" it said it was a lie, I'd be asking the same questions, which is why the hell is this ***** reporter still grilling him when it's known the story is a made up lie.

Fwiw, I hope like hell that Manning and anybody else harmed by this fabricated lie sues the ever loving ish out of Al-Jazeera and this Charlie Sly scumbag character for libel or defamation or whatever is legally permissible.

Just talking about issues 'sall. Patriots fan always has their biased version of someone mooning their buddy in a LOCKER ROOM...in their back pocket for just such occasions. FTR, I don't condemn Brady for not marrying Bridget Moniyhan...she was merely beautiful and he didn't love her. You guys have to really reach to besmirch Peyton tho. To color going too far with a prank to sexual assault. Personal attack for personal attack in the guise of objectivity. That's what I'm talking about.

Well he did re-write the record book in '13. Not linking this to any wrong-doing but Manning's numbers from '12-14 were 3 of his better years. :)
