So Al Jazeera releases a hit piece story with some kook as only source and then Huffington Post regurgitates it like a cow.
The only credibility AJ might have is with the Hamas take on the latest terrorist attack. HP will happily trash anyone with an All American type reputation. Give them all the credence they deserve.

"ISIS lovers?" Really?? Just because Al-Jazeera is from the Middle East doesn't mean you get to call them terrorists. Way to be xenophobic. This is uncharacteristically shoddy journalism from them, but every news network has their mistakes. Let's maintain a little class.

Usually those networks admit, apologize and fire the D bag responsible for an erroneous story. So far they are going to air it, regardless of their source saying he made it up.

AJ is trash and this is simply a microcosm of that network

Link? Not saying this isn't true but ESPN is running with the story and I doubt they would if they had already proven it false.

They have had some level of respect in the past. They are not ISIS lovers. I am not sure how objective they are, but I wonder if they are now losing some of their lustre and are putting out more sensational crap in a desperate attempt to recover some of their lost media share. It would not be the first time a "news" outlet has attempted such a tactic.

Well sportscenter just mentioned the inaccuracies that were detailed to Chris mortenson and spent 80% of the time they talked about it about how it isn't being taken seriously. So with that... seems they aren't taking it as truth either.

Your response has an ironic air on condescension. I have done research and am very familiar with Al-Jazeera.
Forums are for sharing perspectives not making blanket statements like "not true...admit the truth" and the. Inserting your opinion. AJ has a long history of resisting extremist pressure in the Middle East.

I'm with you. AJ is no worse than any American outlet. Also, if I had to guess, this probably came from AJ America or AJ English, not the Qatar h.q.

I confess I don't watch AJ. But unless they are daily running shows in the Middle East to expose the human rights abuses and flaws of Islamist extremism ideology, then I do not give them the benefit of a doubt. I will grant you that the 20% of Muslims that are extremist give the other 80% a bad name, but that 80% is irrelevant if they aren't constantly confronting, challenging and condemning the 20%.

AJ is a CAIR and Hamas aligned organization. They are an anti American news channel for self hating Americans and foreigners. Al Gore who spends his time flying around telling us not to use oil sold them the Current channel from oil profits so they could have a national cable channel to pump their propaganda. Like CAIR they attempt to portray themselves as apple pie but a simple look into their history reveals something more sinister. It's Soviet style Cold War propaganda all over again. Piss on AJ.
