If he took it in 2011 and it was banned in 2011 and given the fact he did not play in a game in 2001, then I can't see where he used it while he was playing. I still would not advise to ever take it regardless if banned or not.

Honestly I assume most football players at the pro level have or are currently taking some sort of hgh or steriod.....and with the concussion risk and issues surfacing with the advancement of medical research I frankly think it should be expected to protect themselves.
