agreed. it's good, but it's definitely not underrated. everyone i know has seen it...everyone talks about it. i got tired of it after the second watch.

It's worth watching on St. Patrick's Day before you head out to the bars, but I wouldn't go any further than that.

I'd actually put Boondock Saints in the most overrated category. I mean it has its moments, but it also has some parts that are pretty ridiculous.

Considering it was put immediately in the craphole by the reviewers, it's an awesome movie. Everyone that I know has seen it and loves it. The ridiculousness is what makes it so funny.

Wasn't Cinderella Man up for several awards?

It was snubbed. I don't think it was really considered to be a "success" at the box office.

the Porky's trilogy

Lions for Lambs was very thought provoking for us children of the sixties

I actually remember reading that lots of moviegoers were demanding refunds.

From what I remember, in an effort to increase box office revenue some theater chains were offering "money back guarantees" to patrons who did not enjoy the film.

Ace Ventura. Maybe it's hard to make the argument that this one is underrated. I'm sure it has received no critical acclaim, but I know that it is beloved by many, perhaps even considered a cult classic.

Two of Wes Anderson's offerings, "Rushmore" and "The Royal Tenebaums" are underrated. I also think that the Coen Brother's "O Brother Where Art Thou" is often overlooked as well.

If you can't laugh at "O Brother Where Art Thou" it is probably because it hits a little too close to home. In other words you feel they were making fun of you!

The Last Castle with Robert Redford.

61* is really good too.

The Last Castle is a great movie...seen it about 50 times...

What about Raising Arizona...great movie...underrated at the time of its release, but not anymore.

Smoke Signals....is a good movie...independently made by Native Americans....definitely worth a watch considering it was such a low budget venture.
