That would be something. He would also get to meet Grunfeld and hopefully King if he is there too again.
" Great player but I dont want him to begin with. Hate to say bad things about (18) year old but he is all about him that was pretty clear at the "ALL A" Classic here in Richmond. I work for the newspaper here and talk with the sports editor here and the kid showed no class. He should fit in well at UT or Cincy. His selfishness and conceded life approach would only set sour in this organization. I would rather have a guy that is more about the team than his future as a NBA player. If it was up to me I would say take him to Knoxville today!"
love this post, this KY fan "works" at a newspaper and cant spell conceited
The last regular season game is 2/21 against Warren Central at Home; the District Tournament begins the following week, the Region after that, and the KHSAA state tournament is 3/19-3/22 in Lexington.
Wow thats pretty late or at least later than I thought.
Cotton....where are you from?
Awesome! I'm just down the road here in Lyon Co! Kuttawa Actually. Did you go to hoopfest?
i love the talk around Scotty Hopson, and if we land him i think we are sure to land a recruit named Verdell Jones, who i go to high school with. But if Hopson goes elsewhere, I think Verdell might go to Kentucky...is there anything i should use to Convince him to choose UT, if Scotty isnt there next year?
No--I watched the Oak Hill game on ESPN, though, and there is a link to the UHA game somewhere back in this thread. I know the lake area pretty well, although getting back to the Hopson discussion, UHA hasn't been particularly popular there, especially in Lyon Co. Too many disappointments for the Lions in the Class A, I think.

he was named to the west team of the Mcdonald's high school american game.
Correct. I'm originally from Marshall County... You ever heard of J.R. or Anthony Mayes?
