'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

Clemson has the allure of a hot team at the moment but there is a full season for that to change... and surely he would rather play in the SEC and go to school in Knoxville than in the middle of nowhere in South Carolina.

And dem Vols will be smokin hot right as he's graduating.

On his recent dunk that made SportsCenter.

“I didn’t know it was going to get that much attention,” said Higgins, who’s ranked the nation’s No. 39 overall prospect and No. 7 wide receiver in the 247Sports Composite for the 2017 class.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound Higgins said the play has caused more people to ask him if he’s interested in playing basketball in college, “but I’ve just been ignoring it.”

The Tigers hosted Higgins on an unofficial visit for their game against Florida State on Nov. 7, and he said he has been in contact with Clemson wide receivers coach Jeff Scott.

“We’ve just been talking,” Higgins said. “I like Clemson. It’s not a bad program. I went down there for the FSU game, and I liked it.”

But Higgins said he’s still happy with his commitment to Tennessee.

“I’m still solid right now,” he said.

Don't blow it out of proportion. He's just talking to the reporter.

This is true. Tee is solid to UT despite numerous efforts from Hunter to get him to flip. He wants to be part of something special at UT and he is currently recruiting for us as far as the '17' class goes. He is loyal and wants to stay close to home. And he knows who the real WRU is

Need OU to destroy clemson.

That D-Line will wreck havoc versus OU in that game. I'm rolling with the Tigers in that one. I'm not rooting for a team we lost to twice. I hope the Sooners get beat to sleep again. I hate them, they are pricks and acted like punks when they beat us. You all are crazy giving those clowns love.

They did act like punks, and I think Stoops sets the tone for that to a certain extent. But we recruit much more often against Clemson. For that reason, and that reason alone, I'm pulling for OU. Clemson with an NC makes them more of a force in recruiting. Clemson getting blown out by OU, OTOH, is a minor win for us. JMO.

Last time we played Clemson they pounded us. So if we're going to lose a very tight game, it might as well be to the national champion. Go Sooners
