sad part is, 99.99999% of the time someone makes a comment like that on twitter it comes from an account with no personal info on it at all. People get real high and mighty when no one knows who they are.

hopefully the kid will make the best decision for him. i do question why 'commitment' is used, media should trump 'handshake with fingers crossed' in lieu of word commitment. y'all can say what you want about them being kids. i really dont care. wish Kongbo the best, if he's a Vol. fantastic. if hes a Nole. Good for him.

Seriously though if you're older than college age and dont use Twitter for your job, or livelihood. You may wish to take a step back. And please. exercise good common sense.

If a recruit making a decision this important allows some knucklehead fan - on Twitter no less - to influence said decision, then I would worry about that recruit's judgment.

In all honesty, every fanbase has its share, and I'm sure Kongbo will attend the school he feels will be the best for his future based on the school, coaches, and team - not tweets from fans.

While true, that doesn't make it ok to tweet those kinds of things to 18-20 year olds who are trying to make one of the hardest and biggest decisions in their life.

Name any scorned FF member that comments any of the following after a decommit:

"Well, we didn't want him ANYWAY!"

"Fine, go waste the next four years of your life!"

"Recruit X is way better! Time to focus on him instead!"

Et cetera.

I'm thoroughly convinced some of our fan base is made up of bipolar teenage girls that immediately jump to "I hate you!" when the boys in school don't pay attention to them. And Twitter just gives global access to the village idiots.
