Umm, majors and fulmer both took longer then 4 years to win the SEC.

First, you say they're not consistent. I point to 4 straight double digit win seasons and 3 conference championship appearances, and you then point to Malzahn who has had literally one good season. Makes sense.

The only reason it should take so long to be good is if it takes that long to bring in elite talent. If the talent is here in year 3 and 4, what is supposed to be different in year 6 and 7? The schedule is not going to get easier.

No it wasn't lol. The 2013 class Tennessee's was one of the worst in the SEC

Things have changed. It doesn't take so long to build programs. Bob Stoops set a new standard and multiple other guys have lived up to it. Butch can get with it or get lost.

Don't give me that bs that things changed. It took SABAN 5 years to have a good Season at MSU. Look how quick spurrier won a conference title at UF... That was the same time Fulmer was in.

He was 10-2 only because the tie vs alabama was vacated so it counted as a win for us. He still finished 9-2-1

You literally just said by year 3... And I've already named 2 coaches who didn't win 10 games in their first 3 years. The. I could name some bust who has quick success and then failed.

Go read my other comment a couple pages back. Just because you won 10 games doesn't mean you have a good program that will constantly win. Do you think Auburn is a good program right now because he won 10+ his first season?

Look at miles at OKState. Never won 10 games. Look at Saban at MSU, never won 10 games. Both are amazing coaches. But they didn't have enough time to build a good program.

Pretty sure all of those coaches had multiple 10-win seasons by year 5. Butch has some catching up to do.
