I think that he has had too much time to look at Vold depth chart with !ormandy.jones and garanatano and the fact trevor larwence. Is the year after him and that he is a vol fan born and bread .i just could not see all these qb sticking ith committs but i am perplexed with the timing after dcg decommitt3d @nd the partial meltdown on volnation.i hope we can get recruiting kicked back into overdrive and hope we hold on to kongbo and land derrick brown and warrior and smith and another safty or cb.then oln offense i hope we get callaway dickerson,tatum,and velus jones and also get hardman and we will be set

No way no how! Just got slammed earlier today for having reservations about the possibility that something may be going on with recruiting besides asking kids to look elsewhere so we can upgrade. This is a big deal. I would get it if he was going to a school where he could just step right in and play, but the #1 team in the country would not be my first guess on where he would flip.

The #1 team that will most likely lose their qb the same year Hunter arrives wouldn't be your first guess? Sounds to me like the perfect scenario for him.

Kid is a 2017 commit and still has a long ways to go. Plenty of time left even in 2016 class. Think of all the names that come out of the woodwork at the very end. Remember the roller coaster ride of Kendall Buseys commitment? Kid was all over and it was a few months prior to signing day.

Deshaun Watson will be a Senior when get joins the team.. Giving him a solid year to learn the offense and step in Behind Watson.. or if Watson goes to the NFL early, then he'll be a true freshman (maybe with a chance to start?).

I'm just surprised so many have unfailing confidence in Butch after the Florida and Oklahoma games, plus the recruiting this year..

And the fact he inherited a dumpster fire and has taken us from 5-7 to 8-4 in 3 years and in all probability will go into next season ranked in the top 15. I have complete confidence in CBJ and the fact he is actually making our program relevant once again. Go Vols!

Maybe J. Guarantano is the next RG3 but with an orange and white uniform. I feel like were still in great shape at the QB position.

We are definitely in great shape with JG, I am personally looking for him to start year two right after Dobbs leaves and never looks back. It is just a strange set of circumstances with this one. We good.

Honestly I am not very dissapointed. Hunter isn't as good as his rating. Wouldn't have beaten out JG and Trevor Lawrence would beat him out as well if he commits here. Too many people here tried to justify his rating, but in reality he is a high 3/low 4 star QB. Only good thing about having him is that he boosted our ratings and built a good relationship with Tee Higgins.

Florida next year in Neyland is by far the biggest game of his life. If the Gators make it a dozen, it could very well end him at UT.
