Butch needs to have the photo shop gang to whip up a letter to JRM from "NFL draft evaluators" telling him he could use one more yr before going pro.😄 then intercept all his incoming emails and letters.

I know I'd personally have difficulty passing up a multi million dollar job. Add in the fact that rookie's don't get huge contracts and the earlier you start the clock to the second contract, the better.

4.1 is probably on par with where we rank in the SEC right now.

2nd in the East

What is Kirby getting at Georgia? 3rd in the East

We are Tennessee. Our Football coach SHOULD be getting paid. We complain about being cheap on hires but now complain about actually paying a coach.

Crazy. This only makes our job that much more attractive should something happen.

Doubt it. No connection to Butch or staff. Butch doesn't seem to hire outside of his connections or a staff connection

Coaching pay rates in general can and should be debated. Them being what they are though Butch's is perfectly in line.

Just found Kirby will make 3.75 to coach Georgia.

Under Butch's old contract he would make less than a first year HC of the 3rd place team in the East.

Again, I think this was the right move. The bonus for making the lower tier bowls goes from $200,000 to $100,000. This tells me the expectations of this raise went up.

Does Nkemdichi get placed in the substance program for the NFL?

Think I recall prospects in the past having their first occurrence before they were even drafted.

His stock will take a hit and some will pass

Couple notes:

I do not see Sheriron transferring and many in the program believe he will be a serious talent for us. He's the fastest QB on roster and has serious arm strength. This will be an interesting battle for backup qb this offseason.

Darrell Taylor is someone I've been hearing will be a player next year as a LB with opportunities to play some downs as a rush end

D Miller and Micah are progressing very nicely at CB and have gained considerable muscle weight.

We have two very talented RB's behind Hurd. Both still need time in weight room but from a depth perspective, the talent drop off will be minimal, especially when CFA is enrolled and gets in the weight room.

Griffin is coming along at safety and we should have two ball hawking safeties, which we haven't had in awhile, considering our current safeties are better run stoppers than coverage guys (although they have improved).

This team is improving at a rate that started out slow and at times felt stagnant but has now gotten to the point of rapid improvement. Butch has finally created an atmosphere and environment that breeds success. Now when new players come into the system, the acclimation process is much smoother and therefore these guys are more quickly ready to contribute on the field whereas in years past, butch had the difficult task of also acclimating the Dooley players to this system. It's only going to get better from here on out. 2016 was always the year that was circled on the trajectory map for true success, so enjoy it, because it will be the beginning of a long stretch of success for Tennessee football.

How do you see the RB rotation shaking out next year? Kelly, CFA worked in? Substantially similar to this year, and CFA redshirted? Thanks.

Dude there has to be a video of Moseleys targeting call vs KY. Dude looked like he ran into a tree and Eman stood there. Leonard Littled his ass. Barely lost his balance if at all. The peanut butter and milk plan is very effective.

My first deployment in late 2001 a buddy of mine hit the gym pretty hard and added about 20lbs of muscle in around 6 months. Granted there was nothing to do there but work and workout... So his transformation is very possible.

Those are helpful...but a crap shoot. The combine,team interviews and pro days determine your draft slot. Smart GM of a 4-3 club will pin him for what he is...football smart player with a tude!
