GA should've hired Kiffin and handed him the keys to running and recruiting the offense. He doesn't need anyone looking over his shoulder and doesn't need to be a HC. An ideal gig for him imo would be hand him the offense. Leave him alone except go for it or kick type situations.
It's amazing how quickly the assistant salaries have increased. Pittman came in at Arkansas at $500k and it had gone up to $525k. Just 4 years ago, their coordinators weren't paid that much.

Having driven through Arkansas from Memphis to Fayettenam, it makes perfect sense to me that he would leave for Athens.... Have any of you ever been through that place? It's awful.
Did Beliema want to lose Pitmann? No. Is it going to hurt Arky with OL? No. Beliema has been producing stud OL his entire career. He doesn't need someone else to tell him how to coach up an OL. There will be no dropoff in coaching. Recruiting is why Beliema wanted Pitmann to stay
It is now imperative that we win the bowl game to salvage this recruiting class and try to close with some stars. Players are obviously paying attention- and hopefully Florida, Bama, LSU, GA all of them lose in their bowls. Screw them all.
