Pittman may have learned stuff under Bielema. Most assistant coaches learn stuff when they go to different systems and work under different HC's. Duh. But to act like he made Pittman is lubricous. Sam has paid his dues for over 30 years at numerous programs that built to the point of being SEC quality. If you've ever seen/heard him explain his developmental methods and blocking techniques you would understand he is strong at his craft, which sells well on the recruiting trail.

Bielema is butthurt. Too bad.

In the FWIW category - the Titans are solidifying their hold on a top 5 pick in the draft. Still say to trade down for picks. There are just way too many needs on this roster like a whole new secondary, two quality O-lineman, a real RB, a LB, etc. I know they will blow it, but time to deal.

Cops saying 15 ft. Ole miss has lost control of counting stories. #architecturemajorsforlife

I thought Bielema was a defensive coach???? Correct me if I'm wrong. If so, he just hired the old Vols staff to make his program work in the SEC.

Man.. For the first time in a while looks like we're getting out recruited. Kongbo shaky, Jordan smith to UF.

Yuck.

Yeah, after reading through threads today I thought, "damz, le Butch is losing his touch and the crazy season carousel is favoring the field." But then it dawned on me... Unlike other years we are in a lot of other programs' back yards. USCw, Oregon, Washington, Michigan, MSU, tOSU, LSU, Florida, WVU, VTech, OU, Texas, etc... Can't expect to have same return rate when you are fighting that many battles. But those that you do win, should pay out more than the previous years. We've gone from penny slots, to the dollar slots... High risk, high reward...

I think part of the reason we aren't having as much success recruiting is because last year we could sell them on starting day 1. Now we are trying to build depth.

Yeah when have I said to disrespect a man while he's injured? When have I said talk noise off the field? You don't know a thing.

I bet you're one of the ones whining about Cam Newton dancing but praising this clown Irishman. Figures

I can't stand newton's dancing. I don't mind after a TD. I mind after a first down on his own 30 yard line in the middle of the 2nd quarter. It's dumb af. Don't know about this or Irish feller as I don't watch ufc. The fanbase has too many douche bags. no offense

He is and he did. I agree, he probably brought the Wisconsin offensive system with him and had Chaney modify it for the SEC. Pittman may have learned a few things from the system, but to essentially claim he made Pittman is idiotic. They made the offense work for Bret.

From the article:

Pretty ostentatious comment. I would say arrogant, but Bielema is probably right. Pittman seems like a good coach. I have mixed feelings about his coaching while at UT, but he seems to be a good recruiter for the OL. But, I don't think one can question that any OL position coach is going to look good (or better than they really are) after coaching under Bielema.

Bielema is an idiot and if he never won another game I wouldn't shed any tears.

He's close to UGA fans. Think he lives down there. That's some unwarranted chiding right there.

I'm calling a 15-yard penalty.

The constant negativity about anything vols related. The absolute joy at anything positive dawg related.

It's not hard to put one and one together that we're being trolled.

From now on I'm referring to him as dawgbone.
