Chaney hire is excellent. This is going to be a gunfight for years, but at least we are finally packing heat ourselves.
At the top of the pile, you don't concern yourself with coordinator hires, but we are still clawing our way up. UGA will not go quietly with this
While at Purdue, Chaney, along with head coach Joe Tiller, became known for using the spread offense famously dubbed "basketball on grass" at a time when it was still considered a novelty and not commonly used. The system relied on a strong passing game and Chaney's offense was one of the most potent in the country.[4] This was evidenced by the fact that future Super Bowl-winning quarterback Drew Brees (starting QB 1997-2000) thrived in Chaney's offense and went on to break and set college, Big Ten and NCAA records.[5]
sounds like a *****Bielema throws some shade at us in this article. Whines like a fat pig about Pittman leaving and says Pittman was an unsuccessful nobody until he gave him a job at arky.

I am glad we don't have to worry about defending UGA with one of those offenses. GA has some serious athletes.
Chaney's playcalling also severely hindered the defense. We went 3 and out way too often in 2012, considering the talent assembled on offense that year.
