I used to watch Huell Howser when I lived in Cali. He had, and may still have, a show named California Gold.

Actually, Huell died not so long ago. Prostate cancer. He made shows up until the very end. Died quietly, no fanfare, no funeral. His shows still run online and on KCET and some PBS stations.
