Last thing on Gus and I'm moving on.

I don't deny the guy is a good playcaller and OC. I think we are slowly seeing that he is not as gifted as a head coach.

Their all star staff is falling apart and they are having trouble hiring a DC. Looks like a sinking ship to me.

I think we need auburn to be an elite program

If they are down then Georgia and Alabama benefit. We don't need Georgia to take advantage of their failures

Nick Marshall almost won a national title as a QB. Let that sink in. that is superior coaching

That is not a gimmick offense. Their base plays are powers and counters and then he exploits defenses with satellite plays off of his base plays.

I go back and forth on that one. We recruit a lot against Auburn head to head for the kids willing to leave the state of Georgia.

I think a strong Auburn program does more to weaken Bama. (although nothing has really weakened Saban to this point)

I think we need FSU and Miami to recruit the state of Florida well to weaken Florida.

His program is literally going in the wrong direction. All these assertions that a great coach wins big by the second year, and Malzahn is only getting worse each year. I could even understand a sophomore dip if the previous coach left you some problems in the roster, but year three shouldn't be the worst of the bunch.

I'd give him a shot as an OC, but as a head coach, the tea leaves are going down the drain.

may help to have a former nfl coach but his resume isn't much to brag on.

The Buccaneers allowed the second-fewest rushing yards per game (96.3) under Schiano during the 2012 and 2013 seasons, but Tampa Bay allowed the most passing yards per game (267.6) during his two seasons with the team.

The writing is more than on the walls at Texas -- It's painted on the floors, mirrors, ceilings, windows and doors too. They are 42nd in the recruiting rankings with only 12 commits. Only 3 are Four Stars, No Five Stars.

I'm not joking at all when I say that a coaching staff of 10 from posters in this thread could get a top 25 recruiting class at Texas.

Their fans have to be spitting fire right now.

The offense isn't a gimmick but Gus is questionable. Fool runs it from 20 to 20 but dials up pass plays in the redzone. He also benches hot RBs. Won't use all of his personnel during games. He needs to let someone else run his offense. That may help him out a lot.

I dunno. He rode with dyer and mason during their runs.

He doesn't have that kinda guy. So he's got a committee. Roc isn't that guy

Holy moly, just saw the Jason Heyward deal. How in the world did he get that deal?! He's gone from awful to decent, but that deal is insane.
