The fact that Hillary could be our next president blows my mind. If that doesn't confirm the decline of the USA I don't know what does.

Everyone gets so caught up with Trump. He's here for show.

But Hillary f'n Clinton. Ugh. It just chills you to say that name. It's like your soul just leaves your body for thinking it.

When Trump is leading in the polls in January, and wins at a minimum the New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries, some will still be saying, "Trump is here for now, and he's only a show".

He's definitely a show.

Unfortunately, he will likely catapult HRC into the White House.

As of right now only 33% of republicans have made up their mind on who they are voting for. The best case scenario is that Cruz wins Iowa, Rubio wins Florida, Trump wins South Carolina and Rubio wins Florida. Whoever wins Florida wins the nomination.

Reminds me of the Soviet Hockey Team's NHL Tour in 1976. The USSR embarrassed the best the NHL had to throw at them. To save face, the NHL had to turn to the team they hated the most: the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers were everything the NHL despised: anti-establishment, aggressive, and willing to fight at a second's notice.

But at that moment, the NHL had to get a result to save the reputation of the league. The Flyers duly responded, beating the living hell out of the Russian scum to the point where their gutless players refused to show up for the 2nd Period until the Flyers owner threatened to deny payment.

Trump has done up the GOP field like the CCCP against the NHL. The one man who stands in his way may well be the man the GOP leadership and their "governing wing" hates the most: Ted Cruz.

If Cruz wins in Iowa, putting a temporary halt to Trump's momentum, then it leaves the establishment with a bitter pill to swallow. The man they hate more than Obama, Clinton or even Bernie Sanders is the man they'll have to back to save them from the mess they created. Their own Broad Street Bully may well be the one they have to turn to keep from getting the curb-stomping they've been asking for after years of lying to the base.

Are there any democrats left running? The news is 24/7 Trump coverage with some left wing twitter rebuttals here and there.

There are still a lot of candidates in the race, as they start dropping out others will close in on him, most of those voters will not go to Trump, I think his numbers are pretty much maxed out. Trump will not get the nomination.

That has been said since Trump was at 20%, he is now at 35% and continues to have the momentum.

I saw Cruz leading in one Iowa poll I believe. His numbers go up, they go down (usually up when he makes a controversial statement) Think about the next round to drop out, I believe most of those supporters will go to Cruz or Rubio

Donald Trump tweet

Looks like @tedcruz is getting ready to attack. I am leading by so much he must. I hope so, he will fall like all others. Will be easy!

Cruz has indeed been shameless about trampling over fellow Repubs in his maniacal march to his own power. It is well established that he is loathed by everyone in the Senate.

People are greatly underestimating the number of democrat votes Trump will get in the general election if he is the nominee.

There are many democrats who are sick and tired of Barak and Hillary.

Wouldn't surprise me if Trump is working on the behest of the Clintons. I know, far fetched but they do have ties.

I've actually heard that theory. Supposedly, he will pull out of the race near the end. Basically handing the presidency to Hillary.
Ah, doesn't matter either way.

Republicans discussed possibility of brokered convention - CNNPolitics.com

Now Carson is threatening to leave along with Trump if there is a move towards a brokered convention, to keep it in the hands of the establishment. This new rule -- that you have to win a majority in at least 8 states -- that's a fail safe for the party elite to take over the convention.

GOP death throes are getting worse.
