Dude Jumper gave Oklahoma a whole drive that led to their first TD. The Bowling Green game he gave up a big 4th down conversion from hustle alone. The Florida game he was terrible too. You say Kirkland got beat by Powell well news flash if he's matched up on Powell knowing the defense or not that's a win for Florida 9/10 times. Coaches can't let that matchup happen period. Powell is the same player that outran the Ole Miss defense like they were standing still. I highly doubt Kirkland can keep up with him in coverage. Kirkland grew by leaps and bounds with the increased PT. Jumper didn't make any plays while he was in despite giving up plays. Kirkland forced a fumble and got a sack in his first game of action. I'd rather have a guy in who will make big plays while busting plays instead of one who gets gashed and doesn't do a thing to balance things out. That's why coaches said forget it lets just go with the young guy.

BB speaks the truth, again.

College Football "GodFather" thought enough of #NIGELWARRIOR to pay him a visit! @CHECK_UP_ #WarriorNation

If anyone else saw this tweet, notice the pom poms?

Reaching I know and bored all my shows are done until February:(

Kirkland and Martin should've been starting sooner than later. It doesn't take rocket science to insert the young player when both are even. Let the talent grow into the role is how I like to see it.

Agree 100% on Kirkland, there was no reason to have Jumper on the field at all this season and it cost us the Oklahoma game for sure. Martin, however, was hurt for the first portion of the season and it showed prior to the Bama game.

Tennessee still leads here but Bama is surging strong. Saban is spearheading this rectuitment. Looks like it will be a Saban vs Butch battle for this one

Sorry, but I don't see the similarity. He flirted with Florida and Bama a bit but committed and shut it down at the Opening. This one looks like its going all the way to the wire.

It just blows my mind why a player with a lot of upside like Warrior, who could have an immediate impact on Special Teams and possibly on D next year would choose to play for the ultimate douche and ride the pine until his junior year at least. It happens year in and year out, I don't get it.

Track record of putting secondary players in the pro's. Strong chance to compete for playoff every year. Ability to play early (Minkah Fitzpatrick, Tony Brown, Marlon Humphrey). Chance that both starting safeties leave for NFL...

I don't like Bama or Saban, but you can't deny that the chance to go play for a dynasty with one of the greatest coaches of all time isn't a little enticing for some of these young guys. And contrary to rumors year-in and year-out, what indications do we really have that Saban will leave any time soon? Wishful thinking on our parts, IMO.

Now with all that being said, I sure hope we can snag this guy. I think he can be a really special player, and follow in the footsteps his father set. I think we have the chance to be a championship contender here in the not-too-distant future, too. JMO, GBO.

Agreed. This is one of those legacy players that not having onboard makes the class seem incomplete. Even if replaced by the number one player in the country.

Quick mini-boom:

Nigel is expected to official visit Jan 29th, the weekend before signing day.

This is really good since he once said he wasn't going to take an official here because he was so familiar with us. Visits the last week before the dead period is always good.

Bang bang!! Anyone notice a trend? All of the big-time Georgia kids we are in on are visiting the last weekend before NSD. Could be a huge NSD.

I had a feeling we would have a big signing day this year. Last couple of years we had everything wrapped up by mid-January. Will be nice to see 3 big time prospects pick up the UT hat live on ESPN.
