TKjr is a turnover magnet at safety and he doesn't start. The coaches don't really like to start the younger players. I'm not for all the rotating guys. Especially your impact players on defense. Full time starter PT and TKjr is up for the All-SEC team.

I mostly agree with the caveat that TK isn't as good at tackling as McNeil or Randolph, so it would make sense to play the other two more against teams that like to pound the rock.

Still, I would have liked to see more of him thus far.

Agreed. I was frustrated as well by the fact the coaches didn't play the talented freshman and sophomores more. No excuse for TKJr and Shy Tuttle (when he was healthy) coming off the bench. They were our best safety and DT. They should've started and played more snaps.

Not sure why you state your opinion as fact, but Williams to me has clearly been the top performer at DT.

Williams has come on late but I and many others felt Shy was our best defensive tackle this year before he got hurt.

And he logged more than enough playing time before his injury. Starting isn't that important. Assure your "many" followers of that fact. :hi:

Not going to hunt it up for you guys, but there was an article about mid-season where the coaches said Williams was leading that group ITHO

Sorry but Foreman and Mosely need to be special teams players only. Their play at times was atrociously bad from techniques to positioning.

Agree, I will never forget in the Vandy game, one of Vandy's WRs made a catch right at the sideline and Foreman had his back to him and was still running down field and didn't even see him catch it!?

Why do we struggle so much with getting CB's? Hoping Osborne can come in a contribute early and Justin Martin IMPROVES.

I remember Foreman for some reason being all over Pharaoh Cooper all game. Or maybe that was someone else. 😁😁😁😁

So you think that executing a player who doesn't perform well will motivate the others to play better? Little over the top don't ya think? :loco:

Worked that way most of the time with criminals when they strung them up on a tree so everybody could see what happens when you break the law

Especially at D-line. Keeping them fresh throughout the game so they can continually play at a high level for 4 qtrs is very important

Randolph is not a good tackler against running teams.

No idea what TK has to do with JJ moving to safety like the message I responded to. But yeah TK is good.

I'm saying a kid could be an All-American but Butch won't start him. Not TKjr but in general at any position. They love seniority for some reason.

You don't think the uneven performances in the first two games had any bearing? The D picked up after McNeil returned.

I think Butch has an ideal progression he wants to see players go through.

I think you will see less of that once we have a full roster. We are still 1.5 classes away from a full top tier SEC roster.

Speaking of McNeil, do yall think he has a legitimate shot at the next level? I mean Coleman is on the pats, and i definitely see him as being as good as Coleman.

Good example of a team that would utilize his skills...IMO doesn't fit every defense, but could be very good in the right one.
