Hate to see him go, but good for Mark Elder.

To me, that's the kind of staff turnover you want to see.

Exactly, our talent, stability, salaries and now coaching career development will allow Butch to go out and hire the best possible replacements which he may have had trouble doing when he first came here.

TE/ST - HC
DB - DC
WR - OC

Are all great promotions and with how these guys have busted it the past 3 years they deserve a reward in their careers.

Go Vols, go get some cruitn' beasts Butch!

I'm guessing we fill Edler's spot with a full time QB coach. Not sure if they promote Sheridan or go another route but I feel confident we add a full time QB coach to this staff.

I would guess that if we do not promote Sheridan that we hire someone with ties to Butch and/or Debord.

Kind of surprising that Martinez would go work for Richt again, considering he fired him just a few years back...but good for Martinez.

I don't know enough about coaches to have a qualified opinion on the subject but, if the consensus about Z is true, could be addition by subtraction....

It was Richt or Martinez. His hand was forced. No bad blood. Good dudes

I would make a small bet that Sheridan goes with elder

I bet they go for Loeffler.

If Azzani doesn't get the Maryland OC job, does anyone think Butch moves him to TE/ST coach? Maybe that's why Butch slid the comment in a couple PCs ago about how great of a job he's done with punt return team.

I could see Butch making CZA ST/WR coach and give the TE to Debord/Mahoney.

Only way I see him staying on staff and still getting a new WR coach. Surely, Butch isn't going to keep him as WR coach.

CZA isn't going anywhere unless he gets an OC job.

Maryland has not even contacted CZA per Hyams.

He is staying put IMO. And honestly, I think the criticism for him is a little overblown. I know I'm in the minority there but that's my take.

Yep. Extremely overblown

Run heavy offense with a WR group that was hammered by injuries.

Hard to make changed with the above and a team that finished so strongly

Get rid of the crouching tiger stance that literally no other WR unit in football uses and I'm on board with him staying.
