I didn't think the TEs lived up to potential

Once I found out he wasn't directly in charge of the special teams units themselves I assumed that was jones way of letting the fan base know he wasn't as important as many here were suggesting

You are probably right. If Jones says something off-script, there is almost always a reason behind it.

As far as I know Elder has been a pretty big asset in recruiting. Wolf has been effective when targeted...not really Elder's fault he has been underutilized. After all, he isn't the "passing game coordinator".

I think CP by a mile.

A mile? Berry runs harder and probably has better straight line speed. CP might be better, but its close.

Berry has run back more. Teams avoid him but kicked to CP. One is flashy while the other is changing every game we are in.

Might have as much to do with how well our entire kickoff unit is and not just Berry.

Berry averages 40 a return. Not sure how much better you think its going get. Berry is not leaving a single yard on the field.

Actually I went back and rewatched Berry's returns. I am even more impressed now. Berry for me now. No wasted movement and tremendous vision. On two of his TD returns he breaks multiple tackles, not so sure CP returns those.

Had one where if the kicker doesn't get a facemask penalty it's another one. He's nasty in his own right.

CP is returning kickoff returns for touchdowns against world-class athletes in the NFL. Not taking away anything Berry has done--he will be an All-American for a reason--but I'd probably pick CP if I had the choice for returning kickoffs next season.
