Add to that, Williams has been fairly healthy in his time at UT.

I realize Kerbyson is a long shot...but...when you look at what's went in later rounds before I don't think its crazy to think he might sneak in. He's a value guy that can play a few spots.

What do we think Cam and JRM's measurables would be?

He's got good athleticism, not sure about how strong he is though. He would have to be a guard in the league, no?

Just saw on Twitter that today marks three years when Butch Jones was hired!

I hope he and his family know that Vol Nation is very proud of the program and the team he puts on the field.

He has kept his word. Hopefully in another three years he brings home some shiny and rich mahogany hardware.

So, a few made up awards for team 119 to pass boredom:

•Team MVP: Josh Dobbs
Honorable mention: Jalen Hurd, Jalen Reeves-Maybin, Derek Barnett

Dobbs feet/threat to run/ improv skills are the reason the offense was so successful.

•Most underutilized: Ethan Wolf
Honorable mention: Alvin Kamara, Von Pearson, Josh Malone

This one is far and away Wolf. He has all the makings of a future NFL TE: size, hands, blocking ability, athleticism. Especially with Dobbs somewhat inaccuracy issues, Wolf's targets at minimum should have been doubled.

•Defensive MVP: Jalen Reeves-Maybin
Honorable mention: Derek Barnett, Cam Sutton, Darrin Kirkland

This was a tough one but Jalen was a grown man on the field. He performed like an All-SEC player and improved his draft status the most out of anyone on the team.

• Special Teams MVP: Evan Berry
Honorable mention: Trevor Daniel, Cam Sutton, Alvin Kamara

Any of the honorable mentions could have won the award. Special teams play was so successful this year. Berry is arguably the greatest returner we have ever had and edges out Cam and Trevor.

• Best True Freshman: Darrin Kirkland Jr
Honor mention: Shy Tuttle, Khalil McKenzie, Chance Hall

Kirkland filled a huge need for us at Mike. Once he took over for Jumper the defense really hit its stride. Great athleticism and instincts and looks to be a future All-SEC guy

Who do you got?

I think Juaun Jennings should get an honorable mention for either Freshman or Special Teams. That dude busted chops on ST. He was a beast. Hard to calculate his importance.

I've thought that too about Kerbyson. Two SEC offensive linemen of the week awards must mean something about his skill. Who knows - the draft is certainly hard to predict. But I wouldn't be surprised.

With the draft we could have anywhere from zero (if JRM and Cam stay) to maybe 5 or 6 taken in an unlikely best case scenario (JRM Cam Kerbyson Williams Maggitt Pearson). I'm guessing somewhere in the 1-3 category.

Amazing we potentially could have probably our worst three year stretch of drafts in a long time and we are improving as much as we are on the field. Definitely shows the youth of our team and how CBJ had been getting the most out of our players.

Wick, you forgot most improved. Kerbyson gets my vote with the entire OL unit as honorable mention. Foreman is honorable mention, too.

Hell of a coach but there is always something stupid that seems to come out of his mouth. I'm interested to see his suit for his presser hopefully he gets it tailored this time. He looked like borrowed someone's suit twice his size at last weeks BG presser where he claimed he wasn't talking to anyone about any jobs.

I would like to see CFA get rated appropriately, but I also like the edge that Cam Sutton and Derrick Barnett have played with the last couple of years because of the disrespect... So, if CFA gets disrespected for whatever reason, it will just be fuel for the fire.

So we now have 3 top 100 players committed.

Really hope we can hang on to Christmas-Giles. Meteoric rise from NR to 4* 82 overall.

I'd say guard is correct.

I guess I'd view him as a RG/LG prospect but that could cross train as a center and an emergency tackle. (I think I remember him getting center reps at some point in his time here).

My thought with him being drafted would be that if he perks up some interest at his pro day, some team might take him in the last couple rounds rather than risk losing him in the UDFA market. But yeah, the UDFA is more likely.

Absolutely. If JRM gets a 2nd round grade, see ya.

He's not improving his stock more than that and it puts him 1 yr closer the that 2nd contract a la Lavonte David.
