MSU's QB is not very mobile and Bama's secondary matches up fine on their WRs. I don't see them scoring many points on Bama. On the other hand I see Kiffin opening it up some with a lot of play action, then a heavy dose of Henry. Bama by 14+ IMO. Okie over Clemson, probably a high scoring game with Okie having a little more D in the end.

Points should always be a premium. It's fair anyways, both teams have to do it, now it's just more of an opportunity to miss.

Why wouldn't it be better? At least now they have to execute a real kick to earn the points instead of the automatic routine it had become.

Then why kick the extra point at all? Just make a touchdown worth 7 points.
