not many because criminals will pick a state like cali or ny where gun laws are strict, knowing nobody is likely to have a gun to shoot back with, someone tries that shat in Tn they are likely to get their head blown off by the time they start shooting their 3rd victim

If there was extensive background checks, maybe those terrorists wouldn't have been able to get the guns. Just like the 3 crazy white boys that shot a politician, movie theater patrons and a school full of kids. Right, it's the dems fault.

The process of getting a gun in this country is super easy. There's also the black market. It's pretty effed up and looks like no solution is in site.

If a psycho terrorist wants to kill someone, they're going to be able to get a gun or other weapons if they want it bad enough. Just like the awful TSA. If someone really wants to blow up a plane, someone will find a way to do it.

Sure you can set up even more laws, but in the end terrorists will always find ways to kill people.

Thanks. That proved nothing but speculation. Stay away from the south terrorists, even our babies have guns. I love southerners, they crack me up. I hear what you're saying. Probably true..

Yeah I get ur point. In the past half the time we wouldn't even worry about locking the doors at night. Now its just a different world we live in.

I think the problem is most people don't trust politicians to stop at what is the sensible solution between a responsible citizen's right to bear arms and appropriate background checks.

It's impossible to trust politicians. I agree with that. There's people that have guns that are responsible. And vast majority who are not. It's a tricky situation. Especially for the people who love their guns.

and yes i blame the dems for everything wrong in this country now they appoint judges that take away peoples rights can't pray in school how did work out when light is taking out darkness always followed s and do you think laws are going to stop terrorist get your head out of the sand

65 yrs old everyone had gun when I was growing up and we shot no one (( I took a 22 rifle on school bus to school and had target practice with teacher after school)) we never though of shooting someone its the heart of man that has changed and can't make laws to correct that

Fine, blame the dems. I don't care. Take away what rights? What's been taking away from you? Who cares about praying in school? Public or private school? Plenty of private schools that pray before every class. Is that really causing horrible turmoil in schools or with children today, not praying in school. Sorry, but that's stupid and irrelevant. What are you talking about light taking out darkness?

Well good for you lady having a gun all your life. Could care less. Did you not read where I said there's people that are responsible with guns. I said a vast majority because everyday someone is being shot killed for effed up reasons. For drugs, money, anger, jealousy, etc... The irresponsible ones.

The sensitivity to guns is funny to me. Nobody is coming to your house to take away your guns. You have them be responsible. But that's not going to stop terrorism.

France has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world. Did it stop the terrorist from bringing their own guns across the boarders?

There are so many guns out there now you could never sell another gun in the US and terrorist could still get them on the black market in a matter of hours. If they couldn't buy them on the black market they would have them smuggled across the border.

All stricter gun laws will do now is keep good people from getting guns in a timely manner.. Criminals will just buy them on the street right away.
