For all the FB coaching openings there have been some relatively smooth searches and hirings. All things considered and the profile of some programs.

Mendenhall was a surprise
Richt was gifted to the U
VT did well by keeping Foster too

For quickest impact I'd have to go Fuente and Foster.

For highest ceiling I'd have to go Richt. He should recruit like a mad man at the U and the ACC just sucks.

For Solid triple I'd have to say Virginia.

Epic fail - UGA if it really is Kirby and he waits all the way until after NC.

USCe - straight dumspter if it's Muschamp.

Northwestern would be so discombobulated after we hang 60 on em, they won't even know which direction their silly directional school is anymore.

This just in: Independence HS is really good. As is Alcoa HS. As is BGSU - whooping' up on NIU. They turned into a good win as MAC champs.

Would help the progress of these young guys who are big time talents. We can get his level of production now at DE. Phillips and Taylor need PT next year. Him staying wouldn't really help his NFL stock either.

Having him for depth and leadership (energy) outweighs those factors imo. We should rotate almost every series anyway and send fresh horses after them.

No and Maggitt's leadership on a heavy Senior and Junior led team isn't as important as it was this past year. I think it's time for both sides to turn the page. Really hope he can stay healthy at the next level. He's a star as a rush end.

Muschamp has potential there, if given the time, and he gets a solid OC.

His undoing at FL was:

Early success, raising expectations
Terrible offense
Catastrophic injuries

He can recruit and he knows defense. Don't be fooled by the madman exterior

SIAP just saw where James Connor was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Wow.

Here's to a speedy recovery, hope EB can be a symbol for inspiration through his fight.

I am pro gun and despise stupid publicity stunts but I say that for both sides. Not enough sensible people talking about sensible things anymore.

Take that Sandy Hook socially challenged kid with access to assault rifles as my lead exhibit for areas of opporunity.

Instead it devolved into calls for armed gaurds or bans on assault rifles. No middle.

I hear you

It's just a world that doesn't allow for things like a we saw on the video anymore. Administrators are darn scared of the liberal outcry they almost always react to such actions with dismissals

Ealier in the week he posted he had no idea about our chances with the citrus bowl

I agree. Moving to TN this year I have been excited about seeing Christmas all over the school, cub scout meetings held on school grounds, and several other conservative leaning things NC had already moved from. It's nice. I still see hope because like someone said the most Christian thing we can do is guide our youth. I do try to guide my kids to see the validity of both sides of an argument and fight for the ones that matter most.
