South Carolina fans are hilarious. They are starting to resign themselves to the fact that Muschamp looks to be the guy so some on their boards are calling for Lincoln Riley as OC. Why would he leave OU for South Carolina? They seriously think they are a top 10 program when it is pretty obvious no one really wants that job.

I actually like the idea of South Carolina getting Muschamp. The prospect of destroying him once a year for the foreseeable future is appealing to me. Wish we could have done it while he was at Florida, but this is the next best thing.

I hear you

For this old timer I hate Bama much worse than the gators.

I will be cheering for a monumental upset

Orrrr, Bama wins the title, Kirby, Kiffy, and half the team exits, Saban is staring at somewhat of a rebuilding year and says ah, I'm good. Nothing left to prove here and steps away.

If Bama were to win the title this year, I could see Saban riding off into the sunset. Maybe doing a little TV.

We have trouble with South Carolina already...it's not like we've been laying the wood.

Every year, Bama loses a lot of good players to graduation and coaches move up in the ranks at other programs.

They just reload. We are closing the gap and should beat them next year at home.

I want to beat Bama while Saban is still there.

They are talking about Lincoln Riley as a HC candidate.

WKU offensive coordinator Tyson Helton is a potential candidate for the same position at Georgia with Smart

Smart may not be a great HC yet but if all the potential hires are true hes already making solid decisions. Hes had plenty of time to get ready for this moment, this could be ugly. :cray:

Would you all worry about Pruitt as HC as SC.

He'd recruit really well there.

It would be tough to steal anyone from Georgia with Smart/Muschamp at UGA, Saban at Bama and Pruitt at SC with Dabo lurking at Clemson.

Can you imagine the recruiting battles in Atlanta with all those guys plus Butch in the mix.

Lord.

They could have the same list but adding in "Butch at Tennessee"

@FootballScoop: Sources tell FootballScoop that Memphis, if Barry Odom doesn’t get done, is expected to name Darrell Dickey next HC https://t.co/Y0CiPBqiqP

Is this our Darrell Dickey?

No, ours is the AD at West GA and he has done a hell of a job there. He has completely turned around the Athletic Department. His son is the QB there and they are one of the best teams in D2.

Not really, he is on the same level as all the above guys as a recruiter, but would have less to sell at South Carolina.
