lol split Bama and spread cancer around the league. Winning.

Nice, succinct way to put it.

Kiffin is a cancer. Whatever short-term gain he does or doesn't give your team, he'll take it away with his baggage.

Clay Travis reported on 104.5 in Nashville the other night that Kiffin was gone after the season because of "off the field shenanigans." This is from Clay Travis. The only people he loves more than Kiffin are Franklin and himself.

As an OC, he's decent but impatient. His best quality seems to be QB coach. LSU sorely needs one of those. Short-term gain, but I wonder what it could do for Miles long-term.

You missed the part about lsu going to the citrus if that happened

I thought he meant that would mean florida to the outback and then us to the belt

I thought he was saying we were a possibility, or we could be looking at Belk or Music City if LSU gets Citrus

South Carolina fans are hilarious. They are starting to resign themselves to the fact that Muschamp looks to be the guy so some on their boards are calling for Lincoln Riley as OC. Why would he leave OU for South Carolina? They seriously think they are a top 10 program when it is pretty obvious no one really wants that job.

Hmmm. Good point. Unless the Bama AD has said he didn't think he was HC material?

If Saban has no plans to leave and Kiffin leaves, Smart does get the GA job and takes a number of the staff with him, Saban has some rather large headaches he doesn't usually have to face.

If Saban does leave and all the above also takes place, you're talking about a perfect storm.

BS. The Orlando Sentinel ran that story which is completely false. UF is recruiting his younger brother, who is a 5* in 2018.

HG, is there anything to the Will Grier transfer rumor? I saw where a Florida site said it was false, but wanted to see if you knew anything about it or why that rumor would even pop up.

It was vague but he said what if florida gets boat raced and the citrus decided to take lsu

He never directly said we could get the citrus but he did lsu

Then I misinterpreted because I thought he was insinuating we could be an outside option

Scout and 247 said based on what they are hearing he won't play for UF again. Some stuff went down with administration and his dad according to one site.

I can see that. He may have been inferring both tenn and lsu are possibilities if florida gets boat raced

I took it more that that is how we might end up in the belk

HG

Have you 100% confirmed he can sit out the 6games at a juco and return to play fully the following year?

I know 100% he can play immediately at a juco but still would have to sit the 6games at his next NCAA stop. However I didn't think the NCAA would allow him to pay the penalty at a school they have no jurisdiction over but wanted to clarify what exactly you knew

I was wondering the same thing. But, if that was the case, wouldn't Saban let Smart know so the Bama job would also be an option to consider?

Smart knows the Bama system and requirements of the school and fan base. That's enough to push him to UGA even if he wasn't a Dawg alum. Bammers are crazy.

The suspension is for one calendar year. It's not a certain amount of games. At least that's the way I interpreted it.

Beautiful. And talk about stupid luck for the LSU AD. He basically fired Miles because he couldn't beat Saban and now he's gone. Who knows maybe Miles and Bama are a match made in heaven. Wouldn't be the first time a Bama by way of LSU has happened.

I hope not! If I have to pull for a close game this weekend, then I will. Give these boys a New Years Day top 25 matchup, and watch them shine.

It a calendar year spent at a NCAA school that's why I don't think he can use the juco to serve the penalty

I know a number of athletes that have went to juco and played to avoid the penalty and just never went back to a NCAA school Because that year follows them. I don't know any that served the year at a juco

I hear you

For this old timer I hate Bama much worse than the gators.

I will be cheering for a monumental upset

One of the mods on ITG said he could serve suspension in juco but he's using a former UF baseball player as his example. I haven't found anything saying yes or no thus far.

Thanks

I know a number of baseball players as well. They all played at juco and still owed the NCAA their penalty. They didn't sit out at the juco though

Would love to know for sure

Surely we don't fall to the music city bowl we went there when we were 6-6. How do we go from citrus being a possibility to falling to music city? We are a hot team on a 5 game win streak with fans who will travel:)

I hope Florida gets boat raced, and can't legitimately see a scenario where they won't. Alabama is FSU 2.0. Ideally it is bad enough that the committee takes them out of the top 25 next week.
