Where you seeing this about them being pissed about the firing?

Everything I have heard sounds like most loved CMR but believed he had reached his ceiling and that wasn't high enough for them

I know a bunch of big timers. Wife's grandparents are boosters so it's through them. No fancy tables.

I'm not following here. Are the UGA boosters a bunch of half wits? They know Richt was fired.

They are gonna pay his buyout and he will be free to be a coach elsewhere.

Had a good looking GF.

Grew tired of her and think they can do better.

Break up with said GF.

GF starts getting attention.

And now they are pissed.

The fanbase is split no doubt but I don't know any donors that are funding his buyout. I do know some who have fought for him.

The UGA fans are trashing Mullen In Atlanta radio. He is like 4-29 vs ranked teams they said. They play no one non conference and have UK every year from the East. Not sure how well he would recruit South GA.

If big money boosters are paying for it, yes. The ones I know aren't happy about his parting and would be pissed if it wasn't so he can do church and family stuff. Cause that means the AD hasn't been forth coming to them. Forget the press

I was talking about UGA in general. UGA is buying out Richt. This isn't a mutual parting of ways.

I have a hard time believing that anyone is gullible enough to believe it was mutual.

Buck Belue just said on ATL radio if it's Smart then Pruitt won't be there. Every single person that covers UGA says the same thing. UGA fans are grasping.

Good. He would win big at UGA. Miss State is a graveyard job. Mullen has worked wonders making them relevant.

I'm sure they are pissed especially when you fire him for Kirby Smart. I know several die hard Dawg homers who can't even justify that move and are pretty upset about it. They understand why maybe Richt had to go but not the for who

Ah I thought you heard they are. I've told them from the beginning that he was fired imo but the ad keeps releasing statements with his continued role at Uga.

When Rusty Mansell says there is not much amid a way that he can see Pruitt on new staff then you know it's not happening. He is always pumping sunshine and he can't find a way to do it with Pruitt

With smart it probably hurts opponents with Defensive recruits but immediately it helps with offensive guys until he shows something on field on what that product looks like. This is pretty big to me because this was lining up as an elite championship caliber class for UGA with some elite in state guys. So effecting the short term is actually potentially affecting the long term in this case. Imagine if Butchs hired year had been the Hurd class and we missed on Hurd, Kellly, etc. that would have been bad for the future of the program. Timing is everyrhing
