No matter how their next two games play out, UF had a more successful season.

So after the bowls and both teams have four losses, our four by combined 17 and their's by combined 50+, us winning 6 straight and them losing 3 straight, who then would you think had the better season?

Matt Rhule took his name out of consideration for Mizzou and it looks like Barry Odom may actually be choosing Memphis over them, unless of course he is trying to force their hand. The Utah State coach is going to interview there now. It appears no one wants to coach Missouri or South Carolina.

You don't think UF would bring revenue to the city? You're selling UF brand short if you think otherwise. This isn't some crap bowl game in Jax.

As for UM game...If Orlando feels UF won't sell seats for a bowl game its no way they commit to the reported 4 year host deal bc of possible lost revenue.

I think all three of those SEC teams would sell seats. But from a city standpoint, the out-of-state teams would sell way more hotel rooms and do more tourist stuff around the game. That's all I was saying. It's a more minor consideration, but it's there.

I didn't realize Orlando would be hosting that game. That's...interesting.

I don't know how anyone can say our season was better when we lost to them for the 11th time in a row. Losing close games doesn't make us anymore successful, no matter which way you slice it...it's just rationalizing.

How about let's say both florida and tenn had good seasons

I can understand the Mizzou angle...after recent events.

Just read an article about Richt that said "he spoke with passion about the chance to coach again and to have more direct involvement in coaching quarterbacks and calling plays..."

Hmmmm...:zeitung_lesen:
