My point is made then. With an identical schedule they are superior with Mullen.

Not really sure I care. My point is the schedule is still easier, and they have only been playing the permanent opponent for 23 years. MSU has won 16 of the 23, and Mullen has 7.

I agree that Mississippi State is a tough job in the west, but just like Franklin did at Vandy, Mullen has bolstered his record with a weak out of conference schedule along with UK as a permanent opponent. This year, he also got Missouri. It's all about timing. Missouri was a different team the last 2 years.

Mullen would go from having the least talented team in the strongest division in football to having talent on talent in a much weaker east. He would win. Quickly.

I'd rather them hire Herman.

Neither are ideal for us.

Why are u so scared of who they hire?

Bet they all turn down the job BC they gotta go against STONES JONES.

Laughable!! So USC is a better 4 loss team than us? Yeah right! And why in the world is Georgia almost in the top 25? They have scraped by the last many weeks. Polls are becoming just as political as recruiting rankings.

That's fine...our team didn't need another chip on its shoulder to beat the snot out of someone in a bowl, but they just got one. Thanks, pollsters!

This your argument when talking about a hire for a top 5 job in America?

Yes. I feel Mullen is a fantastic coach. Florida fell apart when he wasn't calling plays. Mississippi State immediately showed improvement and even rose to the #1 spot in the country last year with him.

The man is an offensive genius. He is a damn good coach. He has head coaching experience at the highest level of college football and has beaten more than 10 ranked opponents.

What is your argument against him.

Let me add this. He is winning while recruiting at that craphole called Starkville. Still winning.

I like this point for this year. The man is still a fantastic coach and a proven one.

How we have performed all year.

Looks pretty easy to see we can compete against the best to me

I think we can compete with everyone

I don't think we have a greater than 50% chance of winning against teams like OSU, FSU, Michigan St., Clemson, Ole Miss, etc..

Never said he wasn't good. But doesn't mean he goes to a place like UGA and does better than Richt.

Schedule someone other than Oregon and OU, and Butch is 6-6, 8-5, and 9-3. Looks a lot better. Actually, it looks like some of Mullen's records.
